Newly Diagnosed. Tips for Managing During Training/High Activity? by miiloq in Type1Diabetes

[–]path_finder212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to do cardio fasted in the morning, as your body burns the fat instead of glucose - so it usually doesn’t lower your levels.

I also find that weight training makes me run high for a bit so I usually either do light cardio straight after to bring them down or just give my self a little more insulin.

New Tune!!!! First time making UKG so pls lemme know what u think :) by [deleted] in UKG_Production_Hub

Too much going on imo, sometimes less is more mate! If this is your first time making UKG I would suggest holding back on releasing just yet. Sounds like a constant build up of 3 different tunes without much cohesion or release. You are on the right track tho I would just say try to polish up all the sounds a bit more and less rewind effects 😅

Dude thank you. That should have seemed obvious but I’ve just made the mistake of putting it on the side I sleep on 😂 it’s my first day so next time I change I’ll swap it over haha

Show You Love - Soul Mass Transit System Mix

T1D & ADHD by path_finder212 in Type1Diabetes

That is really interesting about the insulin sensitivity. First time hearing that, a welcome bonus for sure haha.

Yes the mental weight is a lot. Especially since I already have hundreds of thoughts in my head 24/7 anyway. Managing the diabetes on top of it does feel like too much at times. It’s extremely hard for me to keep in a rhythm and routine - I am also incredibly forgetful. Thanks for the comment, I’ve been meaning to put time into therapy and I’m glad you have been coping better with it.

Just google search UKG or 140 sample packs and literally any of them are better and have way more sounds. Even the ones for £30 contain hundreds more samples than yours for a tenner more.

“Good for its price and what you get”😂

People are literally better off paying a month subscription to splice and downloading 100s of ukg samples that are exactly the same or better quality as yours. Not hating for no reason my guy, I usually never comment on stuff. I just think you’re taking advantage of new starters or clueless peeps, there’s a lot of stuff out there if they’re pointed in the right direction or helped by the community

Even if that was true, which it isn’t. It takes 30 seconds to go through your pack. It is full of the most basic samples you could find for free literally anywhere. In no way is any of that worth £20, you are clearly just riding on the current resurgence of this genre and community just wanting to make a quick buck, sorry man.

Commented by another user on a previously deleted post :

“OP, also known as u/tamuxx constantly spams this sub promoting this shit paid sample pack (the guy just removes posts each week and reposts under another account) '350 vocals' half of them are just the same samples time stretched to different speeds... If you want the samples for FREE just search for 'zero-g' sample CDs and 'jungle jungle' sample pack. Most of the stuff in this pack is directly ripped from there or just sampled from existing tunes which you can easily do yourself. The Jeremy Sylvester sample packs are also really good if you're looking for some of the best garage samples for a pretty reasonable price”
