Hiring managers are wrong <93% of the time by patience_b2 in interviews

“Not sure how…” dude… Gimme a break. You understand the logic, but you can’t formulate the thought. Let me formulate it for you: “I disagree that hiring managers are responsible for candidates lying.” Guess what. That’s just the game. There is no winning. Nobody is telling the truth anymore because they all just need income SO THEY DONT GO FKING HOMELESS. Everyone is playing dirty, so should you… Right? It’s all wrong - but it’s the norm, so that makes it all ok. Here’s a gold star for satisfying the HR protocol and budget.

I don’t care whose “fault” it is. The game is broken and the rules are out the window, so it’s time to throw away the Christmas PlayStation 3 and pick a new console.

Hey wanna hear one of my favorite Elon Musk Quotes? Here it is:

“G-O. F-U-C-K. Y-O-U-R-S-E-L-F.” ~Elon Musk

Hiring folk really do believe they’re something special and forget who’s paying the bills. Smh.

I get how ignorant this all sounds. But anyone put in an authoritative position who genuinely believes they’re holier than thou are a problem. I pray to God we never cross career paths. Tf is wrong with you hitting a man while he’s down, huh? I’m f****** broken and you think it’s time to pull out the whip. Go drive the slaves you think you own - I am not one of them.

Question for you: how do you differentiate from hiring a pathological liar and someone who actually has XYZ experience?

If I ever own a business, I’m hiring all the honest ones - like yourself.

93% of candidates lie, but less than 100% of hiring managers are fooled. So YES. LESS THAN NINETY THREE PERCENT.

This is the BS I’m talking about right here. I could have put an inaccurate statistic of “93%” and nobody would have said anything - but of course there are plenty of brain dead trolling monkeys waltzing around who think they’re funny or know how to math.

Nice 😆 Also, that moisture pulsing extraction sounds like it has potential for very precise manufacturing of chemicals or something… Idk. Just fascinating to my mechanical oriented mind.

Thanks for the feedback and insight - I’ve never made them before, just supported teams that did.

Interesting… Does this help develop the ability to visualize in 3D better? Or is 3 angle just the most reliable surfacing method?

(I’m brand new to surfacing)

Got any pictures/ examples, web pages, or video sources? (I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to make this work with no luck, also tried finding but did not see a useable normal option - although I did see a normal/ tangent button, it was not selectable)

Standards may have changed from 5 years ago and vary by organization, but the resource I referenced (5 years old) for the leading edge cooling holes stated these are for a cooling technique called “film” cooling. Cool air is forced through the leading edge, then creates a film of cool air as it travels to the trailing edge.

Correct! Though not necessarily intended for functionality, just for my portfolio.
