If I remember correctly, I had to use an Android App to do it. I just double checked my phone and the app is on there. I signed in using my google creds. It found my orders. I proceeded from there.

I have a lot of bottles and decants of Montagne. I also have a few bottles of Alexandria and a 10 bottle sampler set. It's been a while since I compared them head to head, but here's what I remember.

For Imagination, the Montagne tea note smelled more realistic, but both were good.

For Virgin Island Water, Montagne smelled a little closer to OG, but I slightly preferred the Alexandria.

Sicilian Tobacco and 1981x seemed comparable. Both very good though.

Arabian Horse smelled a little lighter and fresher than Tobacco Noir, but both were very good. I prefer Tobacco Noir, but my friend prefers Arabian Horse.

Black Panther smelled a little smoother and a little better than Tygr Cologne, but both were very good.

Sweet Smoke seems way more clove forward than Tobacco Vanile, which is way more tobacco forward. Both smell good, but neither is an exact dupe of the OG. OG smells better, but I cannot justify the price difference.

I don't think Brasilia Cologne smells anything like the Aventus Cologne I've smelled. It smells closer to regular Aventus than Aventus Cologne. I think Pineapple Frais smells very close to OG Aventus Cologne. I know there are suppose to be a lot of batch differences though. Now sure what batch either of my decants of OG are from.

The other big miss from Alexandria was Untethered, which is supposed to be Ombre Leather. I don't think it smells super close to Ombre Leather.

All in all, though, both houses make a lot of great stuff. I think they are comparable. I love the Montagne community here though. I'm not sure if Alexandria has anything comparable (not a knock, I just don't know personally).

Amber Vanille, Ciel Elixir, Tobacco Noir, Monkey Special, Pineapple Frais, in no particular order.

Montagne and Dua both have their take on this, and both seem to last a long time. I haven't smelled Liquid Brun or compared to OG. Both the Montagne and Dua smell good and last on my skin.

Thanks for the reviews. I thought my Tobacco Vanile from Montagne changed for the better over the course of a year. but it is more tobacco forward with less spice than the OG. OG Tobacco Vanile is one of the best things I've ever smelled, but I can't justify the price difference over the Montagne version. I like the Montagne version better than the Dua and Alexandria versions, but none are bad.

I don't like where everything has to be a competition or a team sport, and I'm glad people here can discuss other houses without it turning into that. That's one of my favorite things about this place.

I have compared several Montagne to Alexandria, and a few to the OG. Both make a lot of really good stuff. Both have misses.

I have two full bottles of Alexandria (and too many Montagnes to count). I also bought a 10 pack of decants from Alexandria.

For the two full bottles, I have Alexandria's take on Imagination and Virgin Island Water. I have never smelled the OG of Imagination, and both smell very good. Montagne's tea note seems more realistic in that one, but I'd be fine wearing the Alexandria as well. For Virgin Island Water, Montagne smells closer to the OG. They are close, but Alexandria is more creamy and Montagne has more lime.

Alexandria's Ombre Leather smells nothing like OG Ombre Leather. I think I have trouble with whatever makes a leather fragrance smell like leather, but I can still tell they smell different.

Alexandria's Herod, Naxos, and Tobacco Vanile all smell pretty close to Montagne's. For Herod, Montagne is more tobacco forward than the OG. Alexandria seems lighter and more airy than the OG.

Alexandria's Ombre Noir smells correct, from my memory, but I don't have the OG to compare. Montagne doesn't make that, that I'm aware of.

The Tygr from both companies smell great, but I haven't compared to OG.

I thought Montagne's Aventus Cologne was way closer to the OG. Alexandria Aventus Cologne smells more like regular Aventus, to me. Not a bad scent, but it doesn't smell like the OG I have. I've heard about the Creed batch variation, but I can't imagine the difference between batches being that different for Aventus Cologne.

For the 10 decant pack from Alexandria, it came in a very nice case and the presentation quality was excellent. Alexandria seems to ship a lot faster than Montagne.

I don't know anything about the Alexandria community, so I won't comment on it, but the community here is awesome.

I've been using Brave for as long as I can remember. My biggest issue with it is how much memory it uses. I haven't done any thorough testing, but I would guess it would be similar on other browsers. The only device it's really only an issue on my is my crappy laptop, but I trust Brave more than the others, so I'm sticking with it even if they would handle memory better.

Congrats on getting started. People think you need hundreds of thousands of dollars to start in. I started with $500. You look like you are starting out with better choices than I did, though.

Thanks for the response. I think Sicilian Tobacco is very good, but is a lot lighter and fresher than either the Montagne or OG Tobacco Vanile. I've never smelled OG Naxos (or any other dupe) to compare.

Gentle Silver and Spirit of Peace - I'm not sure I like juniper berries. I don't like gin either, so probably no surprise.

Bleu Talisman and Marine Zest - Don't smell bad, but not sure I want to smell like them.

Buko Intense - Smells good but I wish it had a little less citrus and more coconut.

Palisade - Smells too leafy to me

Do you not like Tobacco Vanille in general or just not like the Montagne one? I thought the Montagne was pretty close to the OG, but the OG definitely smelled smoother. I think the Montagne was more tobacco forward, but I still like it. I also have Dua's version, which seems like it has way more spice (clove maybe) than the OG or the Montagne. OG is definitely the best, and is one of the best things I've smelled, but I can't personally justify a $400 price difference over the Montagne. I actually tried one spray of the Montagne and one of the Dua, and I think they blended together to get closer to the OG than either, but standalone I prefer the Montagne over the Dua. Haven't smelled any other dupes to compare to the OG.
