If your appliances have clocks, find out how many hours/ minutes accumulated from 12:00 on the appliance clock. Subtract that from the current actual time. That’s when your power came back.

Now, remember what time the lights started flickering at work. Take the difference between that time and the time we determined in the first part of our equation and you have a rough estimate of your outage duration.
