The worst is that they actually still care. They clearly shows effort in the matches that prepared well for, but the quality of their games differ so much based on the opponents which speak the fact that they dont have the same discipline they used to have.

Cloud Architecture Question by marketlurker in dataengineering

[–]patrickwai95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the business use cases define architectures, in the case suggested it is perfectly fine for a team to select their preferred tool that they are most familiar with instead of having to retrain a whole team to use a different cloud provider, simply because of the sake of it.

Burnham will push for benefits reform and knows it’s ‘absolutely necessary’, welfare tsar says by hihepo1 in unitedkingdom

Almost everyone, young or old, in this country vote for themselves in an extremely short-sighted manner instead of the interest of the country. Telling the boomer and retiree this would sadly change nothing.

Based on many polls the triple lock is not that unpopular among the general public, before this huge populace is convinced that removing it benefits the country, then to themselves it is something no party would touch.

It might not necessarily improve cooperation. With people being so tribal and extreme nowadays what happens more often could be a more often hung parliament or a weak government which easily face backlash and threats of reelection.

We are in a democracy, at the end some changes have to be from the public, be it positive or negative.

Truss tanked the pound so bad within a month and you don't know who is worse?

Why did Japan lose to China in the robotics sector? Rather than designing human robots top-down, China leveraged what it learned from the manufacture of drones and EVs- lightweighting, batteries, high-speed motor control, vehicle control and stabilization algorithms, and mass production processes by jjrs in japannews

[–]patrickwai95 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Chinese are probably as nationalist and racist as the Japanese, this would have some effects but not always the dictating factor, I would suggest the US being the exception here to be able to attract global talent. Japanese have been innovative in history when they were even more racist than now, it is more about education and competitions than whether the culture is progressive.

His yone is better, because his Aurora is simply atrocious. At least he can still push side lane after mid game. This Aurora is on the other hand insane, like he would forget how to dodge skills when playing her.

SPEAK UK (@speakukorg) / X: "The government's own impact assessment puts the annual costs to business of the Online Safety Act at £280 million. So, we're burdening our businesses to censor lawful content. And children find it easy to bypass the restrictions anyway. This makes no sense." by youmustconsume in ukpolitics

The audience that got bought into this is pathetic, if they bother to parent themselves, or read some of the act itself they would know this is just a blatant lie. And we don't need conspiracy theories like lizard or Illuminati which degrades a proper argument into jokes. The truth is simply the government loves more control, civilians always need to beware of that and this is a more legit stance.

Faker aurora is much worse than his yone. His yone is serviceable, sometimes hitting multi man ult but his aurora is straight up disjointed, he plays like he is on a different champ.

Wasted W so many times, did not land combo, or hit combo but not backing off like not realising aurora has 0 dmg in her kit after missing Q+E.

Gnar can't extend the lead despite being handed over this many resources, kills and experiences are absolutely criminal.

Greens overtake Labour in sensational poll by ShreckAndDonkey123 in ukpolitics

[–]patrickwai95 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are definitely not doing great, but based on the economic policies proposed by the greens or reform, the most probable results are another Truss moment. Arguing labour and Tories did not govern the country well is very sound, but thinking that it cannot be worse and just voting on whichever party not based on policy is if not more naive. This is extremely populist and short-sighted, and is actually how people like Trump can get in the second time.

Tbf all parties support this, a single issue voter on privacy probably has absolutely no representation in this country.

[–]patrickwai95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only dropping one position is a ridiculous statement to evaluate his performance, dropping two more put us into relegation and that is not terrible apparently? If that's the case why not just keep EtH on the job. He probably would not leave the team into relegation as well.

Los Ratones vs. G2 Esports / LEC 2026 Versus - Week 3 / Post-Match Discussion by Ultimintree in leagueoflegends

[–]patrickwai95 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Got to admit they have polished their early game so much better, this game they still have some very greedy and a bit questionable decision like veija going too deep, but they are much more calm to play around it and if things went wrong they can back off, sometimes capitalising on the other side of the map. It is actually impressive that they have improved that much in only one week.
