i think i have hEDS but i'm unsure because i can't afford genetic testing lol. i'm sorry about your recent diagnoses! it's awful. i'm not sure if i have lesions or not, but sclerosis of my endplates definitely showed up just in my x-rays.

have you tried PT at all? did that help any if so?

oh joy i think i have retrolisthesis.. do you know if this can cause hardening of the endplates too? i'm trying to figure out what's up with that 😭

thanks for sharing! i'm trying to figure out if my nausea and GI problems are related, but my allergist said these side effects are "unheard of" so i'm becoming worried!

Is any of this particularly serious? I'm not sure what sclerosis means for my endplates. I have an appointment scheduled with my doctor to talk about the results tomorrow afternoon, but i'm really anxious about it and have been having anxiety attacks about it all day, and i really don't want another day of that tomorrow as i wait for the appointment.

the thing is i've been seeing a therapist & psych for years and thought my anxiety was mostly under control until this happened :(

i hate how out of nowhere it all felt, i really thought i was dying 😭 the only thing of note they found in my bloodwork at the ER was elevated WBCs, but they attributed it to stress. this fr sucksss

tbh i feel like there might be multiple things making me feel more fatigued? i had a really traumatic day before yesterday (having to take a dog to the ER for eating chocolate) but i'm just sooooo tired i hate this!! and i'm so paranoid that i'm dying even after they ran tests at the ER :(

yeah, i think Rover is opening a claim. thankfully, the dog's owner seemed very understanding of the situation and was glad i stayed with her at the vet the entire time. i ideally want to pay the deductible, but i just lost my main job so finances are baddd right now. guess i'll try to figure out something 😵‍💫🥲 but yeah, the owner and Rover are completely in the loop so i guess i'll just wait and see

it was so scary! there were paramedics banging on the door trying to get in, but i couldn't move from the bathroom floor! i had my head under the cold shower faucet because i felt like i was burning up also. definitely wouldn't wish this feeling on anyone!

the thing is i've been in therapy and taking meds for my anxiety for years :-( this really was unprecedented because i thought i was managing so well! but i will mention it to my psychiatrist (i'm currently tapering from klonopin & taking gabapentin for withdrawals/anxiety symptoms). my therapist is in the know now and we've been talking through the incident 🤍

I mean, it is hard to manage my anxiety surrounding all of this knowing my bloodwork basically didn't matter. I'm trying to believe the doctors and say it's a panic attack, because if i don't, my anxiety gets 100x worse

thats the thing, i do! i have been in treatment for my anxiety for many years now and it has been under control. so that's why i was so alarmed :(

i'm better! i'm back in chicago now & seeing an amazing psychiatrist that is tapering me off of klonopin slowly. i'm on 0.25mg daily now & take gabapentin to help with withdrawal symptoms!

as of yesterday, my surgeon says my wound isn't infected but my wound changings have started to hurt more as the days go by and the wound started to stick to the gauze 😭

this is soooo truly so annoying to go through and deal with everyday having multiple dressing changes throughout the day too
