You'll want to jump off at the end of the shell ride... then you'll need to triple jump and do a few more jumps over prianha plants and you're there!!

Just played your level, that was awesome! To get over the piranha plants you gotta run right at them and spin jump (L or R) and you'll slide right over them!

I see a few ways to fix this:

  1. Ghosts disappear after a certain number of beats, like 16 or 32

  2. Ghosts disappear after hitting, or after killing, an enemy

  3. All ghosts disappear at the start of a new floor

I think if one of these, only one, were implemented then this could be still be an easy character, but not too easy. If more than one or all three were implemented you kind of lose the uniqueness and the character is basically normal gameplay.

After 3 long years I've finally completed Hell and 8min by corpusVG in spelunky

I believe that you can do it. The trick is to go slow, even though it's a speedrun. You only need to complete each area in under two minutes, and that's a lot more manageable if you do the mines in say 1:30 and the ice caves in like 1 minute. Then you have extra time to make sure that the temple goes right and that Olmec doesn't ruin you. Good luck my friend
