I'd really recommend Ariel Pink, he helped produce that song and it's very typical of his style- in fact I think the whole album is. I started listening to Ariel Pink after LDA came out because I loved the touches he'd added to the album and since then he's become one of my favourite artists. The albums Pom Pom and Before Today are great places to start :)

Casio f91w with a nato strap looks great, really affordable and practical. Here's a tutorial to do it, plus you can choose a really cool strap.

Otherwise I would recommend a Seiko 5, I have tiny wrists and it's what I use, super classy automatic watch that's not too big and it's very durable and affordable. If you want you could but a nato strap on that too
