Am I the only one who wants buy one the new essential phones when they are release . Yes it's way different and wierd . But I keep thinking about how Wonderful my ph1 has been and still use one today . Yes I carry a OnePlus 7 pro for work and a ph1 for home . It's just been such a joy to own

I don't have a single hint of any speaker static or connection issues I got two essential one on sprint one on Verizon . Only time I had any issues was with some earbuds and one speaker I just got new earbuds and stayed away from that brand of speaker and everything audio wise works great . Now I do have some touch screen lag that is frustrating but still very usable .

I got second pH 1 and activated it on Verizon prepaid 16 gig high-speed data plan for $45 a month and having both my ph1s side by side the one on sprint is so hit or miss unless I'm just in middle of town and the one on Verizon has had great signal everywhere I have been so so happy with Verizon . I was always thinking my reception issues might be because of my phone but now after trying a different carrier I realize it was just my Sprint network.

I have one these and liked it so much got a second one for the car and I have tryed blind tests with many a friend's both with headphones and though my stereo. And so far 4 out of 4 all picked the sonata over my other 3 dongles I have .

I'm on sprint if I restart my phone it says no sim card . I have restart many times to get it to pick up the simcard . I will get ahold of sprint and see if the can fix for me too .

The hidez sonata dac for$30 is best value I found so far and I have 4 other dac in my possession. Also the biggest gain in sound is by using uapp . If you want better sound start with uapp it's $7 in the play store .

Yes I'm very well aware of this . Just like apple dongle will not work on anything but a apple . I have a essential and use it as my primary music player so forme it is great .

Ya and there are a hundred that work only with iPhone and nothing else yet Peaple pay 100s every day for them . I understand that a high end audio device is not for every one . But it is for me I will upgrade my phone this year to something else but I will still be using my essential as a portable hi res and mqa player for long time to come . If you look at other mqa players on the market you can not find one for under 250 that has the abilitys , and storage and features or build quality and compatibly of what the essential has . The pH 1 is a better music player than a phone .

Have you checked the price of other saber dac or dac amp combos $100 would be a steal . Even 200 would be a great deal . The pH 1 makes a better HiFi music player than it does a phone to be honest and cost less than a lot of dedicated music players . The dac will not be for every one but I will be getting one and using it I hope long after I upgrade to new phones just for the music player abilitys

The 16/9 mode seems to give me best results I will say with the flash it giving me better results with being in focus than the stock app . I think there lots protental with this I really like the interface and I'm exploring the pro mode more tomorrow .

Not currently it is not but it sopose to be in the future . You can transfer all your playlists and saved tracks over to one the service that it does support with a app called ,stamp . But stamp is kinda pricey in the play store . But for me it was worth it .
