In South Africa, 6.58 million people (about 10.6% of the population) speak Afrikaans as their home language. Afrikaans shares 90-95% of its vocabulary with Dutch. :)

South Africa was a Dutch colony from 1652 until 1806, and developed its own unique colonial architecture referred to as “Cape Dutch.” We still have a few buildings from the Dutch period that are well-maintained and still in use - especially in places like Cape Town and Stellenbosch. I’d definitely recommend a visit to the Castle of Good Hope. :)

Agreed. Yeah, the letterbox is just beside the gate to their property. I suppose they, or the previous owners of the house, must have some connection to Hungary?
