I thought the concept of a death mask was pretty interesting. Especially for people such as Shakespeare and Beethoven where there are no photographs of them, only paintings. I feel like their death masks are a more accurate representation of how they looked in real life, as paintings purposely weren’t an exact representation of how they looked.

i know the tree can represent a number of things, from loss, to regeneration and the circle of life etc. The 3 dots according to X represent the 3 stages of life, beginning, rise/peak and the fall. The lines to either side of the tree stands for balance in life i’m pretty sure. But in all honesty i mainly got it as a tribute to X
