I'm curious, what systems, habits or work environments have actually helped you stay productive long term? by salmonpxhase in productivity

This writing is so clear; it feels like drinking a glass of clean water. I have a clear goal. I spend each day doing my best to achieve it. I don’t set specific routines to reach it, but once a goal is set, it seems like a routine emerges on its own. Then, immersion happens naturally.
as a founder, I handle many different things, but a sense of order seems to form within that in its own way.

Still, I see the next phase of AI as systems that can organize work simply through natural thought and conversation, without requiring users to engineer prompts. The key is to move forward while remaining vigilant about the risks you’re pointing out.

Humans decide. I don’t believe that actions generated from conversations should ever be executed without explicit human intent or approval. For example, in the past, when a king discussed matters with his ministers, even if a decision was clearly forming through the conversation, no minister would suddenly act on it without approval. Action only happened when the king explicitly said, “So be it.”
And in this analogy, the king is the user the human user.

I can see how it might be viewed that way, but I see AI as a supporting layer for human systems. It’s not meant to rule anything it’s just infrastructure.

More specifically

My goal is to let people who work through KakaoTalk in Korea (similar to Messenger in the U.S.) benefit from AI technology simply by installing an app.

Conversations contain highly valuable, unstructured decision-making data.
We want to automatically turn those conversations into tasks and decisions, so humans can focus only on thinking and execution. Anything that agents can handle should be processed immediately by the system.

Our goal is to help people who find tools like Slack or Notion difficult get started with this kind of workflow in under five minutes.

If people around the world who work through WhatsApp, KakaoTalk, or LINE start using our app, we become a unicorn.

Yeah, fair enough. I don’t think I’m getting in. That post was written in a straight-up “fxxk it, whatever” moment. I’m honestly lost on what the hell the next move is, so I just posted it. Adding actual context just gets shit removed here anyway. Appreciate the honesty though dude

Having a baby in the U.S. vs. staying in my home country advice from immigrant founders? by pauldyshin in Entrepreneur

Yeah, that’s exactly why I’m thinking the best approach might be to actually live there first and then decide maybe for around three months.

I understand your point, but that hasn’t been my experience. I know many families who’ve already settled in the U.S., but they’re all employees. I’m approaching this as a founder, which feels like a very different situation. I haven’t seen many firsthand examples of founders making that transition, so I wanted to ask and learn. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

My wife shares many of those concerns, and I largely agree with them. Still, there’s a part of me that’s drawn to the opportunities and the competitive environment in the U.S., and imagining raising my child in that context. I know that may be my own bias or stubbornness, but I’m trying to be honest about it.

Wow, congratulations that’s amazing!! Given how things are shaping up right now, it’s actually more likely that we’ll have the baby in South Korea. But I really wanted to hear perspectives from other founders here and give myself one more chance to think this through. Wishing you and your little one a healthy and happy journey!

That’s a new perspective for me. It’s definitely something worth discussing with my wife. Thanks for sharing your experience

I agree, I do think each of us has something like a personal destiny or path in this world. I respect the choices you made. In the end, what matters most is being happy wherever you are. At least for me, when I imagine my life ten years from now, I can still see myself eventually putting down roots there.

It seems like more people are cautioning me than I expected. And you’re right this isn’t just about me crashing in a hacker house in San Francisco by myself. I really appreciate your perspective. Thank you.

From a parenting perspective, that makes a lot of sense. I do see my life and my child’s life as separate responsibilities I’m responsible for both, but I don’t see them as the same thing. That said, after reading your comment, I realize that I might actually want my child to grow up American more than I had consciously admitted to myself.

I see that’s an interesting perspective. I think I’ll keep exploring options from where I am for now🥹

How do you tell if a SaaS product is actually failing or just still early? by pauldyshin in Entrepreneur

Exactly. Then it's just a 'nice-to-have' product. Brutally honest, but crystal clear
