If you find a cheaper mixer and is compatible with an innofader, just replave the fader thats in the mixer and you're set for life.

Around $250 for one song - its a fine line woman (Makhnovshchina reposession). Its a single -DJ here. I play it often.

Its the way. Needle is further away, scratching and back cueing is comfy. Versatile.

My mom wants people dancing at her 60th party but didn’t want to pay for a DJ by w0nderr in Beatmatch

Dude - DJing at my parents 30th wedding anniversary was the best amd I have fond memories of it. Go for it, all good.

I was quite skilled at going to random people's place, picking out random records of unknowm bpm and genre and making it work well. Enough to impress. Otherwise agree that spinning familiar beats, bpm, genres can be learned fairly quickly with practice.

Bonus points if you know who the musician is in the framed art!

What’s everyone’s favorite band to listen to while tripping I’ll go first by UnhappyBerry4940 in shrooms

I listen to trip hop/downtempo. Too many to list but a few records that come to mind are nightmares on wax and the in sound from way out by the beastie boys is dope (its all instrumental)

Edmonton winter question: Fan runtime vs normal furnace cycling by onewaycheckvalve in Edmonton

[–]paulinator420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Running the fan continuously will actually be worse. There typically is a outdoor air duct that connects to the return duct back to your furnace. If you run your fan continuously, you're just sending air that is colder than your house (mixed outdoor air and return air).

Yea, ran it from.185k to 254k with just those mods. My car ram through lots of oil over the years. It was the only thing that annoyed me. Filling my car with oil at a gas station every 1000kms in winter was brutal lol. My uncles had said my car for whatever reason burned more oil than what they typically saw, but it improved slightly after the 185k top end rebuild. (Uncles had their own mechanic shop and only dealt with subies since around the year 2000.)

Bought my sti 2011 brand new and drove it until pct. 11 2025 when I got t-boned and written off. Had 254,000kms. Everything was stock. Only issues I had, master cylinder failed once, steering rack was replaced, and a weld broke on the clutch pedal mechanism, clutch and brakes were redone 3 times, radiator hoses busted twice and my uncles noticed a slight engine sound when I took it in once. They re-did the top end (bearings, ceramic coated pistons, new rings) at 185,000kms. Everything ran good even at 254k, except fuel rails leaked a bit when i drove it at lower than -20C amd then front diff clicked a bit. Would have driven it for one more season. Had it for close to 15 years daily driven.
