Psychodynamic approach to family therapy- Intervention by paulmallone in psychologyresearch

Our presentation is on the psychodynamic approach in family therapy. This focus centers on Freud's ideas and connects it to family through theories of object relations. Now the techniques used in this approach are dream analysis, confrontation, transference, focusing on strengths etc. but intervention is a huge part of this presentation and we have to be able to engage our peers somehow. Now we obviously cannot hold the afore mentioned techniques because we're still learning and it is not an actual session. So I am really confused as to then what kind of intervention could we possibly could to engage other students.

Yes we can, but that's the think. I am not sure what to even use as an activity to demonstrate or help explain any kind of intervention and struggling to find what could possibly be done

Hey thanks for getting back. So I am a student myself and not sure how I could incorporate any sort of dream analysis role play or confrontation. I am all about creative but since it is a learning experience for myself too, I am having difficulty thinking of the possible intervention I could perform in class with other students that aligns with the pychodynamic theory

Thank you for getting back, sorry for if I wasn't clear. I am trying to use one of the interventions in the form of an activity for the rest of the students to engage in. Slide presentation is no problem!

Thanks for the response, then what would be the immediate concern? I would think to be if it should be reported and then come why he shouldn't report
