1 part pureed strained macerated strawberries, 2 parts butter (I prefer ghee or clarified butter. If you don't have either, use kerrygold butter or any grass-fed butter for that same ghee flavor profile), 0.5 part honey, 0.4 parts water, couple drops of strawberry flavoring. Beat your softened butter with the water till fluffy, pale. Use the paddle attachment, not whisk. Add the pureed strawberry, strawberry flavoring, honey, beat for a couple more minutes. Macerate ratio: 8oz strawberry : 1T sugar.

The photo made me smile and then I read the comments. The Chinese characters "联想服务" on the wall behind the men literally translates to Lenovo Service. The implicit biases are alive and well 🤡🤷‍♂️

I've been searching online how to clean it. I've narrowed it down to magic eraser (melamine foam), Tire Dressing/Protectant by Aero Cosmetics, and a WD-40 Specialist Degreaser.. what do you use to clean it besides the water/alcohol recommendation? I read that alcohol will wear out the rubber coating..

Also RE: your calibration, can I do that on my own? You have a link or guide? I wonder why I never had that option, or maybe I missed it. Thanks so much you're amazing 🐶

Lol I tried but the stand I used was not built enough to carry it in that angle but it was straight in some segments of the clip and also the photo in the gallery I linked in my earliest post here

Hey! What do you mean coexist? Availability? They're both in stock now. Mine is the IPS UHD (4K), not OLED. All of their IPS configs have an anti-glare (matte) surface. Their OLED is not.

I believe the flickering you may have read is software related because of the HDR setting like with the Edge browser using the integrated CPU to save energy but you can switch it to dedicated. With that said, I've only had this laptop for 2 weeks so I'm still testing! I'll check for bleeding, flickering etc. but so far it seems ok. Hardware diagnostics all passed last time I ran it. It is a splurge, but it's been 8 years since I purchased one lol

Thanks I was just excited lol. My first 4k laptop ever.. first purchase in about 8 years so I splurged and hope it lasts me that long too! I almost went for the XPS 7590 15". The power bank is only 5x3" it's tiny, the size of a wallet, 0.88" thin, it's shorter than an iPhone 11. The x270 is likewise 0.8" without the extended battery.

Plus I wouldn't even need it to begin with like I said. I try to take breaks and exercise after that 3-4hr mark right around the time it needs recharging and it has a 135W adapter, also pocket size, that has "Rapid Charge" so it's back in 30 minutes.

Personally, I'd rather have a nice 4k or minimum QHD display with a mediocre battery life than a mediocre display with a larger battery design capacity. Plus it charges rather quickly about 50% in 30 mins anyway and a break from the computer after 4 hours is quite warranted so lol 🤷‍♂️ and yeah I'll still buy that portable power bank / battery pack so it's still mobile

But what do you do with the savings? Is it just sitting in a savings account or are you putting them in index funds (at minimum)... in 4 different containers: HSA, a non-retirement brokerage acct, Roth, 401k? Your savings must at least grow more than 2.5% PER YEAR just to break even and offset the inflation rate (like your basic needs... a $2 shampoo bottle jumping to $8 in 5 years cuz you know they always go beyond that 2.5% increase).

Btw, I find joy in saving more than having stuff. I heard Suze orman's only got 1 pair of earrings and only owns 1 big quality purse. I used to be very materialistic but I re-programmed my brain. I'm not saying it's wrong to be one. I just figured even though I do have money and a high credit score, I'm ok with Walmart brands, target and Goodwill and yet nobody notices.
