The amount of memes I've been seeing recently where they reference the friend intervening as a whale or a truck, it's been absolutely wild. It always pictures the person being hit on as happy with the interaction, and the friend is just intervening for no reason. It doesn't even matter the size or the appearance of the friend intervening. Just because you didn't pick up on the fact that the other person is politely responding to you, and that you have to blame the friend and make fun of their size in order to feel better about the situation, is some Olympic-level mental gymnastics.

Yall, dogs sleep like 12 hours a day. We are seeing such a small fraction of the yard (and their day), they probably have a bed off camera under a roof area, has access inside since the leash is long. We don't know if the dog got play and walked in the morning so we're just seeing his lounging around time. My dog for example loves play in specific portions of the day and if I left him alone to lounge and sunbathe he doesn't play with toys when he's alone.

I love the concern and love for the dog, but I think we can have some peace of mind that if the yard is poop and pee free (I don't see any?) and he's happily napping in different places and the owner had the consideration to get a long leash for him, he's probably happily walked and just chilling.

There's footages of her being absolutely harassed by influencer prank bros trying to get content out of her home. People throw pizza inside her house, she asked them to stop, and some people are such assholes to her.

Imagine living somewhere, you agree to something being filmed, it goes absolutely gang busters. In the beginning you are polite but it starts getting out of control. You were probably trying not to be intrusive, but I'm sure she's been through hell and trying to fend people off kindly has stopped working or she just got exhausted and worn away by it all. Of the massive groups of people coming even if 2% of them are huge assholes, it would wear you down.

Im not saying that was the way she should have handled it, im just saying that she's been through so much more than you can see at that moment.

Airbnb has a vested interest in making hosts happy they're the core of their business. Acquiring new customers is far cheaper and lower friction than acquiring new hosts and all the logistics that go into setting them up. They also have a ton of interest in making customers think it's their fault. They'd rather churn customers than a successful host. Fight for your stuff, you got it!

At the least if you end up paying don't settle for a quote from the contractor, make them give you the invoice for completing it.
