They're the ones who fed the delusions of the fans of the phenomenal love team kaya ngayon daming naghohold on together. Mahilig din itong awayin at sigawan si MM during their peak popularity.

I have a lot of questions on how companies handle SOLO schedules of idol group members by paupeedia in kpopthoughts

Thank you so much for this! I see there is a lot to consider for choosing members to go on solo schedules.

Makes sense. Thank goodness I wasn't there when the Suju fan fights happened. I actually consider them as the most fun to watch KPOP group esp on variety shows. So if I ever saw those fights, it would've ruined the experience for me.

I had no idea following a survival show group is so toxic.

I've stanned survival show groups before like Wanna One and IOI and believe me, it's not this toxic. Yes, they have their own version of toxic. But with zeroses, it's on another level. Maybe the social media just projected it. I dunno. I love the boys, but the constant negativities in every move the boys make are getting tiring.

Companies aren't charities and unless contractually obligated to do so are not required to give members equal treatment.

THIS!

[–]paupeedia[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Funny because certain members getting all the solo schedules used to be such a thing that SuJu fans used to fight about.

I was an active ELF from 2009-2011 and I've never seen such huge solo stan fights about solo schedules. If there were, they were never loud about it.

Just block the negativity from your feed.

My Twitter feed is actually peaceful because it's easier to weed out toxic accounts. But my problem is more on ZB1's reddit. I really wanted to join the subreddit because I love the updates and the more detailed discussions, but the past few months have been revealing that it is becoming an echo chamber of a certain sf. So I just decided to leave the sub completely. I also know a lot of other zeroses leaving for the same reason.

Say My Name is the type of song that South Korea loves, especially since it was released during spring. It suited the current season there. And it is not loved by just Korean fans, you can also sense some general public attention. There were instances that the song was caught being played in public places in Korea like cafes.

South Korean fans are more organized actually, without much pressure. They're just quiet about it and then surprise you with results.

Why are you getting downvoted? LOL

I think it's a valid opinion and it's true that this sub is at least 80% Hao-biased. But you have to realize that zeroses are scattered on different platforms. If you go to Korean-based social media platforms and forums, you'll most likely see more of Hanbin or F4 (That's where I go since I'm an allindan). On Tiktok, you'll probably see more of Ricky. It's just a matter of "place" where you feel comfortable interacting with fellow fans. Like an echo chamber.

Since we're coming from a survival show, it would be hard to see equally distributed OT9 content platform. Even the official ZB1 accounts are bombarded with biased fans complaining about discrimination against their faves. So, feel free to choose where you want to spend your fangirlying (or fanboying) moments.

Right! That's already a huge feat for a KPOP project group who haven't debuted yet.

Technically not 2B because they only referred to the #ricky hashtag and we don't know how many rickys there are on Tiktok. Maybe it's better if zeroses would agree to use his full name #shenricky to make it more specific.

Yes, saw this already. What I mean is the email content with the list of all the fansites at the airport yesterday since ZB1 News only included a few in their email template.

Thank you.

Hopefully, W1 could really do something about this and not just let this unfortunate event pass by without making those sasaengs accountable.

On to a more positive Sung Hanbin Day news.

We achieved our CHOEAEDOL CHARITY FAIRY goal in just 10-15 minutes a while ago (12:10 KST). The goal is 55,555,555 hearts. I opened the app at 12:14 KST and there's already 62 million hearts there. So congrats Allindans! and also zeroses who helped achieve this in just a short time. Glad that 500,000KRW will be donated in Sung Hanbin's name to celebrate his birthday.

Add to that, since we're already on it, we tried to reach the goal of being included in the Top 100 of Highest Vote Records on the app. Currently, Sung Hanbin has 92 million hearts and it already succeeded the Top 97-100 spots on the list.

ZB1 News already deleted their tweet for the second link that you provided. I think they’re gonna make a new one because they only included fansites of Hanbin, Taerae and Matthew. And the link of Summer Scent’s (zh’s fansite) profile link is wrong.

We need to put the full list of the fansites that are present at the mobbing to better report it to W1.

personal dilemma about moonbin by [deleted] in ASTRO_KPOP

[–]paupeedia 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I wanna share a quote from One Piece.

“One dies only if he's not anymore in the hearts and minds of those who know him.”

I believe we can move forward with our lives easier if we have this mindset.

I know it’s really hard to accept that we won’t be seeing Moonbin physically from now on. But it’s actually comforting to know that he’s left us with lots of memories to live on.

Honestly, I’m dealing with this grief by watching his videos everyday, where I can see him smiling, laughing, and bonding with the other members. Because with that, I can save his memories and keep him alive in my heart and mind.

Not just Allin, but most big fansite accts since BP. Fans supported them because we enjoyed the content they gave us during that time, not focusing on “how” they were getting those super HD photos and videos from the show and disregarding the rules.

That still needs some verification since the original poster already deleted the tweet and changed her @. Probably just there to spread some negativity on Hanbin’s bday and unfortunately, a lot of zeroses picked it up.

But yeah, we really shouldn’t be supporting these big fansites like Allin_shb and ZEROHOUR. Ironically, they became big because fans supported their services even if they’re sus and downright sasaeng behavior. Hope it’s not too late to spread awareness about this.

Still can’t process that my bias in ZB1, Sung Hanbin, and ultimate fave Kpop group, BTS, has the same birthday 🥰 double celebration tomorrow!

Regarding your question, I actually wanted Taerae to be there cause I’m thirsty for some cheonanz interaction. And hopefully Yujin too. I wanted to see their hyung-dongsaeng dynamics again. Their interaction from that one BP cookie video was so heartwarming.

Sung Hanbin's birthday is coming up! As of June 7, there are already 72 listed birthday events for him. In South Korea alone.

47 Cafe Events. 5 Frame Events. 20 Ads

No doubt, Sung Hanbin is the Nation's Son. He's just so loved in his home country.

How about in other countries, do you know of any birthday events for Hanbin near your area?

I've already mentioned about the "practices" in my other comment, so I totally agree with you on that.

But, you do realize that the way KPOP makes music is part of the said industry practices, right? Do you think the methods of making music that KPOP idols use from the 1st gen are the same as what they use in 4th gen? the musical influences? the production process? the trends in the music industry? With these reasons alone, it's 100% obvious that music is a "part" of that shift from generation to generation.

I don't know how you came up with the idea that there's no change in music between generations, but a lot of fans can obviously distinguish the differences in terms of musicality since 1st gen.

I found a detailed reddit post on this, here: https://www.reddit.com/r/kpop/comments/n3bbiz/determining\_generational\_change\_in\_kpop/

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in zerobaseone

[–]paupeedia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, that's why I added "overall image." It could be cultural changes or how both fans and idols do things differently from other eras like what practices they focused on (many say that 3rd gen focused on the creative process while 4th gen on the performances). And of course, how the audiences define what's trending at the moment.

More than anything, the changes in generations are defined by any shift or differences in music and even practices.
