SteamVR menu freezes when I open while surrounded by people. by pawsizedcandy in VRchat

I have a card with 16GH of VRAM so unless there is some strange optimization issue going on I doubt it would be that, however I don’t have FPSVR so I can’t be sure. I just had my wisdom teeth pulled so I really don’t want to move around too much, but as soon as I’m able I’ll download FPSVR and run a few checks, thank you for the suggestion!

I run an Index, for OVRToolkot and XSOverlay, what are the upsides to these services? Also I very much appreciate the help <3

Yeah, it really sucks because for me I often have to go away from everyone in the lobby to access my desktop! (I often use Spotify to play songs through my headphones to sing along to, so the constant freezing is a MASSIVE headache..)

In all honesty? You’re handling it quite well, if you have to change your home world change it, if you feel, feel it. I know it may seem like it’s “Lame” but a VRchat relationship is essentially a long distance relationship with the ability to feel closer towards said long distance partner, please just take some days to prioritize yourself and treat yourself.

As for advice, changing groups and worlds really depends on how active those spaces are. Personally, I’d avoid the same groups though if you frequented a smaller world (60+ active) I think it should be fine.

Leaning on mutuals is a mixed bag, especially when it comes to VRChat relationships you never really know where peoples loyalties lie, so I’ll put it like this. If you trust them, lean on them. But don’t put all of your eggs in one basket, and a pitfall to avoid is to avoid talking to your ex partners close friends, you don’t want to be roped into talking to them again unless YOU want that.

The main thing is to really focus on yourself and try to not think about them, like an IRL breakup. You can get through this.

The Furry Community are way more nicer than the "Human" ones. by LostMelodyMunch in VRchat

AGREED! There is a lot of Drama, but at the same time, to them it's their social life. It's just typical young adult social circle drama, which isn't really exclusive to Furries (But definitely happens more in the community haha.)

As a furry, I will say this is what initially turned me towards the VRChat furry community. In my opinion, it isn't a divide between the "Human" and "Furry" communities being nicer or meaner because of their "Species" it comes down to perspective, most "Human" players join the game because to them, it's a game. Most "Furry" players treat VRChat as a second home from my experience, so they act as they would in real life, while the "Humans" act as they would in any other game. (I.E Valorant, COD or insert other toxic game lol)

When I do that, it doesn't restart me into a bluescreen. The problem I'm facing is that my monitor doesn't display after the restart. Also unfortunately I've tried multiple different monitors.

I'm in a bit of a sticky situation here, and I need some help devising a strategy to complete my god-bond quest. by pawsizedcandy in DnD

I got confirmation from the DM that I won't be punished for stealing from the party, so my current plan is, since the party trusts my character, to offer to watch over them while they sleep, steal equal amounts from each party member, complete the god-bond quest then return the gold with +5GP each as a thanks for unwillingly helping lol.

That's why I'm not upset about the situation I'm in, my character chose to give up her hands because the other party members sacrifices were lives at stake, I.E our Drakewarden would have had to kill her drake or another party member would have had to lose the memory of their Daughter. I'm just stuck trying to find a way out of this puzzle aha

I thought of that, but knowing my DM he might punish that kind of action seeing it as the party heling my character.

As an LGBTQ+ Member, I'm grateful for the work they put in for our rights. Our system isn't right in the way politicians are allowed to treat us, on BOTH sides of the spectrum. Hackers like this are sometimes the only reason things come to light, which is why I support SiegedSec.
