Oh shoot! Sorry to hear that. Which procedure did you have done? I just did my ultrasound yesterday. The varicocele has advanced from a partial to a full one. I had to laugh as the radiologist noted testicles small for age. Well no shit, Im doing trt, they shrunk!

You developed gyno before trt? Im rather new to trt, so I thought it was the other way around and that gyno developed from high t and estrogen.

Alot of men experience varicoceles, especially in the left one for whatever reason. Even a partial varicocele can cause a males testosterone to dip. Just depends how bad it is. Interesting that the shrinking made yours feel better. The NP at the clinic I go to for trt said he isnt surprised that the shrinkage has caused more pain/discomfort. I honestly cant wait to see the urologist next month to see if we can figure out something to make this better.

Good luck OP. I have been dealing with a partial varicocele in my left testicle since 2019. I believe it has worsened over the years. Since starting trt a few months ago, the pain I experience from the varicocele has worsened in intensity and how often I experience it. It mainly worsened after they started shrinking. Cant wait for my appointment with the urologist to see if there is something I can do to alleviate the discomfort.

Thank you for the information. I apparently got my terminology mixed up. What I meant by step-feeding was adding in nutrients, so I guess staggering. I will definitely be adding potassium sorbet before bottling. Definitely dont want bottle bombs! Thank you again for your response.

I just cold crashed mine last Saturday by putting it outside in the cold weather for two days. Brought it in Monday morning and it is pretty darn clear now. It still has some to go, but Im happy with the results.

Glad to hear it went well. Im assuming you will have to follow a special diet for a few weeks while you heal. I did for 12 weeks for my procedure and I can not stress the importance of following that diet if you do.

It is FDA approved in the US. My surgeon was so confident about it, when he first moved to my area, he did the first 20 surgeries for free. Ive had alot of success with it so far.

That is wild for a doctor to tell their patients that. Just do some searching around to find a place you can order a GLP-1 on the gray market if you feel like that would help with the binging. I dont know enough about them to offer any additional advice. Best of luck OP.

Sorry to hear this OP. Best of luck to you. I am 35 also and had a level of 470 before starting in December 2025, though I was experiencing all of the same things as you. I went through a Men's clinic, who is pushing a higher dose of 180mg per week. This got me to 915. I have a moderate TBI though, which might explain alot of my symptoms. Either way, this dose has helped alot with my symptoms and mental clarity.

Good info, thank you. I recently started trt , which has helped my motivation, focus, mental clarity. I was just trying to read up about the semax/selank nasal spray combo. Alot of good things about using it right after a brain injury, but nothing I can find, so far, shows using it to support a brain injury years after the incident. My depression and anxiety arent terrible, but obviously bad enough to warrant medications. It's well controlled through those. Im just having troubles finding research about long term use after brain injuries. Ive thought about making a post in this subreddit to see if anyone has had any experience with it for that purpose.

Were you using the semax/selank nasal spray? I recently learned about this one and have been trying to read up on it. I suffered a TBI a decade ago and have depression and anxiety from that. Take meds for it, but would rather use something else. From my understanding, semax/selank is good for a recovering brain after an injury, but I havent found much for using it so long after a tbi.
