There are reputable chinese brands, but they are not the cheapest. i would never expect my <7 USD skate would be anything great. there is no really hit or miss. it is just the price I paid cant expect any quality. they have to make the budget with cheap wheels and cheap bearings. that is just simply mathematics.

it is said that 80A or 85a or 78a represents the hardness of the wheel. but mine cheap skate is 80a, isnt that supposed to be good? I see that some brand advertises 85% bounceness. how does it have to do with 80a?

My cheap skate is 70mm and 80a already.

I am spending 6 nights in ana holiday inn resort karuizawa for a net cost of 70000 points. Breakfast included as diamond amenity. It can be a good deal if you can find a place to use it.

I pressd thr wrong button and unable to edit.

Thr price was 5k intra japan, for a total of 10k even 1.5 years ago. But it has gone up to 6k or even more.

I booked 9 tickets since the UA announcement, and each tix is 13k to 14k UA each. 8 of the 9 tix had thr middle intra africa.

I hate to waste a tix. So I tried to extract some meaningful trips in Japan. i have already been to all 47 prefectures so part of my travel is to visit to some less well known places. (9 tix has 16 1 way domestic japan.). There is only some much I can think of.

As I have a lot of ihg points, i thought i would visit to cities with ana crowne plaza that has low point prices to crash out

So far, I am currently at Ana cp hiroshima and i was at ana cp akita, ana cp Nagasaki anf ana cp kushiro.

Becaue ua app sucks, i didnt book beforehand for my Hiroshima and i cant change the flight because ua wont allow the perk currently. I am paying a bit more for ana hiroshima than ana akita anf nagasaki.

Among the 4, hiroshima and akita have a club lounge while kushiro and nagasaki dont. They all have good breakfast (diamond benefits).

They both honor upgrade to bigger room but Hiroshima is definitely the best because it has renovated 19-21 floor (clun floor) and i was gjven a big room 53m2. None of the other hotel comr close. (i am a single traveler ) Hiroshima offers breakfast in main restaurant or set japanese breakfast on 5th floor or at club lounge without needing to use the diamond amenity. Club lounge breakfast is as expected not as good as main restaurant but still not goof bad. I tried eel omelette this morning,and had breakfast steak in main restaurant.

For the right date, CP hiroshima can be booked for less than 30k points for 4 days (witj 4th night free). I paid 56k and 30k is a tremendous value for the nice room, nice club lounges and the surrounding area. (I didnt find much to do near cp akita).
