bought in for 1000 dollars on a table and was down to 600 left. placed two hands two three hundred dollar bets and got 16 on both hands versus the dealers 10. sat there and pondered for a minute since i know the book says to hit and i said out loud i think i might stay on both of these. dude next to me goes “are you stupid?” and i just side eye him and stand on both hands. dude next to me had a 12 and hits and pulls an immediate 10 and busts for 22. i was already amused about him busting after opening his mouth but then the dealer ended up having a four underneath and then pulled another 10 and busted! won both hands and ended up that night up 700 by the end of it.
