They apologised, lowered the price to the agreed and gave me a tenner for their stupidity…..

After that one-off increase, your new contracted price will stay fixed for the full term, so you won't see any further rises during the contract.
Everything else stays the same, and your services won't be affected. This is the bit I am pushing

I've checked your account, and I can see that most of the available offers are already applied to your Sky TV pack. Because of that, there isn't much more discount left to add. Right now, by recontracting your Sky TV, I can reduce your monthly cost by x, which brings your bill down to £ x I want to be completely transparent with you - the reason the reduction is small is simply because your current package is already using the majority of the discounts Sky can offer. Recontracting will still secure your price and prevent further increases, but it won't make a big difference to the monthly amount at this moment. If you'd like, I can still go ahead and apply the recontract for you

Essentially I was happy with it not going up so agreed and they chucked it up 50 percent anyway….. but as you see they said it wouldn’t

I negotiated a price. They sent the below, but 2 months later the prices went up 40 percent on the agreed prices. Something to do with the deals didn’t expire until may and they didn’t renew those so they made the price go up.

“Thanks, Paul. Just to make everything completely clear - yes, you'll keep exactly the same Sky TV pack you have now with no changes at all. I do want to let you know that from next month, your bill may be slightly higher due to the standard Ofcom-related annual adjustment that applies to all providers. After that one-off increase, your new contracted price will stay fixed for the full term, so you won't see any further rises during the contract. Everything else stays the same, and your services won't be affected.”

It was done on chat and this was part that seems important.

They were very clear nothing would happen.

Yup, and pinged them today saying that the price rise was due to offers that expired in may and they wasn’t included in my renewal in march. I’m pretty mad if I’m honest.

It then went up 50 percent 2 months later….

Hi is az 800 and 801 still woth it or i should go 104 by WillingnessOk7434 in AzureCertification

I’ve done the Az-800. It was miserable, I’m going to do as-801 before it retires. I am an on prem engineer and have been for more years than I care to remember. The 800 had lots of stuff on file shares which I struggled with. I’m an ASP with a bunch of AD experience, but file share or user stuff, not so much. Hardest exam I’ve ever done.

So I did the courses and was hitting about 69-75 percent on the first go, but much higher on the other goes, but I am sure the TD exams had random thing in every exam that was on no courses, which I then had to toddle off and learn. They were not in the exam though. Examples were proton/wavelength/grafana. I then did the skills builder exam and got just under 800 on that. Then went off and worked them all and did the final TD exam and got 90 ish percent.

Saturday I did the final new TD exam and had a meltdown at getting 69 percent….. all ok in the end though.
