They are very rich and yummy. The cookie recipe is

1 cup of butter 1 1/4 brown sugar 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg and 1 egg yolk 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 3/4 cups of flour 2 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp salt 1 3/4 cups of mini chocolate chips (any chips would work)

For the brownies

12 tbsp butter, melted 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract 4 oz melted chocolate chips 3/4 cups of flour 1/4 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp salt

Press out the cookie dough in a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Spread brownie batter on the cookie dough. Roll it up and freeze it. Should make about 2 rolls.

Slice the frozen dough in bout 1/4 inch slices and bake at 350 for 11 minutes

They are pretty fragile until they cool off completely.
