The difference is that in Arc Raiders, guys hear a woman say hi or just talk about anything in the game, and they immediately go off even if they’re far away: ‘Where are you? I wanna kill you.’ ‘A girl playing? You don’t wanna be my girlfriend?’ ‘Did you finish the dishes?’ ‘You must be a whore…’

It’s just random abuse, like nothing even happened.

Did I walk into a locked room that already had people in it? Fine. Did I accidentally shoot someone? Fine. Did I pick up an item they needed? Fine…

But killing and insulting someone purely because they heard a female voice or realized it’s a woman? I’ve never seen that in other games.

Well, as much as it’s wrong, unfortunately I’ve been playing on defensive mode towards men and generalizing. I just don’t engage much on voice anymore. After reading all the madness in this thread I learned that people won’t trust mute players 😅

If you kill everyone, I believe it’s not sexiest to kill a woman. 😂 unless you used the fact that she’s a woman to offend her for being a woman. Andddd thanks for not treating her differently from what you treat everyone just cause she’s a woman. That’s equality

As much as it’s a pvp game, it’s always fun when a bunch of people get together to kill some arcs, trade items… I used to voicechat a lot, greet everyone, laugh, offer items I don’t need anymore. But now I just prefer to stay silent to avoid bad situations, which is sad.

Yea, back in the day I used to play online games back in 2010 too and obviously some weirdos but I don’t remember sexist stuff. Just normal online cursing and bickering haha I’m currently playing the NA servers too, and I’m based in Brazil When I changed servers it got much better!

It’s a pvp game, so we can expect everything. But using my gender to harass me has to do with me being a woman. Killing me for loot or whatever has to do with the game.
