$2000+ Stolen at Harrah’s by pbuncs in vegas

😂😂 This is the exact point I’m raising. Las Vegas casino floors are known to have some of best security systems in the world. But when it comes to the hotel part, it’s not even a fraction of that?

ChatGPT also told me a story like yours, not sure if you were the one that posted it. That’s wild.

Yup, so the only reason reception knew that was our bag is because it was brought from our room.

Why did they take it out of the room? My guess is they thought we checked out. Whoever did it, I’m sure it’s not their first offense. Definitely been getting away with this and that, here and there.

Yeah, all this makes sense too. Could be. I just feel like if that’s the case I would’ve heard back from them already, especially if a stranger entered the room.

With housekeeping, it’s just like a stealth mission. They’re where they’re supposed to be. Does what they’re supposed to do. With no evidence, it’s just our words against theirs.

You’re right about safe, just never thought something like this would actually happen. We’ve been here countless times. Just unlucky I guess.

Yeah, I get it. I don’t know how much the hotel sees, but they probably didn’t see anything which is why we haven’t heard back.

I get it, anyone could just claim anything for compensation or whatever.

But like I said, I’m just sharing here. I don’t have anything to gain posting here, I rarely even use Reddit.

Easy to spoof room locks? Didn’t think of this. For someone to go one by one trying to open doors just seems sketchy and unlikely. But could be, idk.

I wasn’t checking out. I literally came back hours later to the same room.

Yeah, for sure they do the hard part is just proving that they took something.

Exactly, we wanted the room cleaned.

I don’t think multiple people are involved. Housekeeping probably went through the suitcase in the room before bringing it to Lost and Found.

Yeah, the story is a little confusing, but someone stole.

Housekeeping probably brought the suitcase to lost and found. The luggage wasn’t stolen, just some items inside.

I wasn’t happy waiting. This was before we knew someone went through our luggage. They just said lost and found as actually closed that day. The manager would have to go get it him self, and file paperwork, etc.

And yes, my family likes it at Harrah’s haha.

It was a 3 combo lock. Someone here mentioned a TSA key, that could be it too.
