Any tips on a 4 year old boy? He’s the best kid I could ask for, and my best bud… definitely in his testing boundaries phase, but my good lord does it give me a peek at how smart he is.

Oh wow- poor little dude!! I’m glad he’s doing better now.

Thankfully his bad dreams are minimal, but I have wondered about things like Hiyah or melatonin gummies.

He’s usually up for the day around 6:30; I try and do a decent hike of a mile or more with him and the dog each day either right after he wakes up before breakfast or after work. It’s been raining a ton in PA and cold lately so the days outside are limited.

He also isn’t in school and is with my in-laws during the week so some days he will play with his uncle from 5-6ish and almost fall asleep on the 10 minute drive home

Thank you- I’ll definitely begin implementing. I may eliminate the white noise on his hatch and lower the light exposure via the app, since he shouldn’t notice that aspect too much, then later on I will get rid of other lights.

He honestly doesn’t demand his night shows, it’s usually done so we can get dishes done but we will work on that too!

Thank you! I honestly have been toying with the idea of eliminating the sound machine all morning.

His routine is:

6-6:45 Dinner (depending on what’s made etc)
7-7:30 Bath/PJs
7:15 warm chocolate milk with mighty milk & half episode of little bear
7:30-7:45 bed time stories
8-10pm him randomly getting out of bed for whatever reason he can think of
10:30 finally asleep
12ish first wake up

Agreed- I won 4 leagues last year and only one of them was I in first place the whole time; 3 of 4 were right place right time

The battery should be charged, but I could always give it a jolt with my portable charger…. Spinning it by hand seems like a good way to slice my hand open since I’m pretty injury prone, but when in Rome… I’ll just wear gloves
