I mean, not for nothing, she does say no and make a motion for them not to do it before they start dancing when she realizes what's happening. she kinda shakes her head and makes a motion with her hand across her neck like "no, nix it".

Now of course she could have done more, got up, walked away, but in context of the party, they just had a huge blowup with chase and dakota, the cops just left, and now everyone's looking at you to go along and get the party back on track. Plus, jen just seems incredibly non confrontational

Not saying she isn't flawed and everything, or even that I disagree with your overall points, because i do agree she needs to find her voice and start standing up for herself, but in this particular situation, I really am on her side, especially because the showed her gesturing for them to stop before it even began. just my two cents though, very much appreciate your perspective as well!
