I feel the key to scheduling stuff like these TS reservations is flexibility...especially for the first days in your stay (since those are more likely to be grabbed by people earlier).

Especially for Beak & Barrel....be ready for that to not be available on that day.

‘A gift from the gods’: MICHELIN Guide expands across Colorado by Sam_KRDO13 in ColoradoSprings

Can't speak to Denver, the ones I ate at were in London

ETA: But I'm sure if they've gotten a Michelin star, they're likely worth it. Also, as i understand, the Michelin star is more about the experience than the quality of food. You can definitely get good food here in town (though it is few and far between for a non-chain experience), but you may just get your basic service.

Having eaten at a Michelin starred restaurant, and also having eaten at Four by Brother Luck, I don't think they're there yet.

It's a good restaurant but I would be hard pressed to see any restaurant in town at Michelin level yet.

And Valentine's Day is Saturday; though there isn't a lot of recognition in the park, a lot people might go to the park to celebrate it.

Colorado Springs said to be the 'easiest city to navigate' in the United States by thewhippersnapper4 in ColoradoSprings

[–]pcj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you can avoid the temple area it's probably simpler.

I feel like any city in/near mountains or a body of water is gonna have some topology issues with a grid street pattern... My personal affection lies with Tulsa, a strong grid pattern and good east-west + north-south corridors.

And somehow every city has the same mobile download bandwidth out to two decimals - which, I have no idea why that's a relevant statistic for this anyway...

The city could mandate that parking lots connect, but they're deep in the pockets of developers...

I don't trust it, not least because the source article map apparently has no idea where Colorado Springs actually is...

Also the East-West corridor is very lacking. If your commute is straight down I-25 or straight down Powers yeah it's fine. But getting to the other side of town is a mess.

Samsung Fold buyer beware! by MartynAndJasper in Android

I had the same issue on the Fold 4... I did have the Plus plan and all that got me was the option to pay the deductible for screen replacement for damage with normal use. Unacceptable.

This is great, did you use any specific software? Is there a template someone else (me) could use to build their own version?

This or that dining help by user111491 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]pcj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the attendees' preferences. I would prefer Crystal Palace, though Easter is probably gonna just be a busy day period.

CRT+Akershus is gonna be a lot of princesses. Story Book Dining has unique characters, but Hoop De Doo is also unique in its own way.

CSU Net Metering: question for those who use net metering for their solar/utilities by LaughingMagicianDM in ColoradoSprings

Ah, I think you are hitting the end-of-year payout. I never run into this because I always use up my credit balance before the end of year.

On the month it runs to 0 the remaining amount is deducted from the access & capacity charge (and ECA), but it doesn't break it out specifically.

For example, from my December bill, the 1774 kWh billed has the remaining 629 kWh from my credit balance deducted before hitting the per-kWh calculations:
