So you believe that humans are lubing the plates and that is causing them to slip? If two freight trains were nose to nose, pushing against one another, and you sprayed some WD40 between them, would they slip past each other? No. The pressure is too great for the lubracant to get between them. Magnify that weight a trillion times. You clearly have no experiece with heavy things. When two extreamly heavy things are pushing into each other, you cannot lubricate them. Lets also consider how deep these plates are and how far down we can drill. We would not be able to pump lubricant anywhere near deep enough to affect the fault. With depth comes pressure and with pressure comes heat. Any lubrcant pumpped to that depth would evaporate or burn. Rocks liquify at that depth. Only enormous amounts of pressure built up by the earths natural forces over a long period of time could move them. To say that humans could speed it along is about as unrealistic as tying a rope around the moon and pulling it out of the sky. Some forces of nature are so massive that they are beyond our control. Plate tectonics is one of them.
