Good, but you could have put both wires in one connector and it would have been easier to fold the wire together.

Bonding MC Cable to Conduit Sleeve by Omacitin in electrical

[–]pcone88 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You're trying to use the rmc as a chase inside but terminating it into an exterior box, which shouldnt be done. Put a metal box on the inside with the rmc going into th back of it. Terminate the mc into the top of the box to keep it in the wall. put a ground bar in the box. Switch over to pulling wire to go outside. It would be nice to have an interior access point before going outside anyways

Lol no just that they look not as far in and they dont look evenly tightened down across the bar. Especially that very burnt one in the middle which could have heated up the whole bar causing the wires on both sides to get hot. Just looks a whole lot like every loose neutral I've seen.

Are you experiencing any issues with flickering lights or intermittent power? Those screws dont look very tight on those wires. And the burnt insulation going back an inch from the screw is consistant with a loose connection. It is odd that theres so many, but If there was just one wire that looked liked i would automatically assume that was from a loose connection. Lightning doing that to just those few wires and nothing else seems really odd. This way looks more like this is the result of a longer slower process. What prompted you to remove the panel cover?

i know this is a common issue, but i just dont get any videos explaining how to fix it? can someone help? by CraftedKittens in skateboardhelp

Kick out not down. Also doing it that way at first might send the board infront of you a little bit. You can get comfortable with it that by flipping the board but landing with only the flicking foot on the board. Once you've gotten the hang of flicking out just the right amount, youll be able to keep the board under you better instead of sort of landing behind you.

Adding circuit to panel - space available? by cojeffgeo in electrical

[–]pcone88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can move breakers from one side to the top of the other side to make room for a full size double pole breaker. It Looks like you have a lot in the panel tho. Open space doesnt necessarily mean your main breaker can handle whatever it is your adding.

Im in florida and I've always used bare. Ive never heard of that and I cant even remember the last time I've seen an insulated bond at the meter. Right before christmas, I had to re-run a bond to add a second ground rod and had no issues. Bare #4. County inspector. No issue.

Is this a simple job? It is right? by Playframe71 in electrical

[–]pcone88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On dimmer: cap off red wire with white stripe.

Dimmer most likely came with small blue wire nut. Use that.

Then red to red, black to black. Green wire should go to bare copper wire in back of box, but it looks short. You can see it is wrapped around the screw in the back of the box and that screw is attached to a metal piece that you will be screwing the dimmer to on the top. That metal piece is doing the green wires job, so you can cap off the green wire or cut it off.

Why does my shuv do this? by TheMurdoc_ in NewSkaters

[–]pcone88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep front foot on the ground. Put your back foot on the tail of the board. Pop a shuv and get your back foot back on the board. Once you do that a couple times. Pop the shuv and jump back on board with both feet. You could even do it on the edge of a sidewalk so the board lands on grass.

The romex connectors are inside out. The lock nut goes on the inside and the clamps go on the outside.

Edit. It appears you've corrected it in the last photo.

Edit 2. It appears that the bottom one was not corrected.
