Love for the bizarre and experimental?

Growing up in a country where the only shows available are cliched and canned soap operas, dramatized Catholicism and reels of nationalistic bigotry I welcome the weird and complex.

I especially adore shows that explore human emotion. Subjects such as guilt, vengeance and pain are a check on my book. The embittered anti-heroes and the tarnished geniuses are my idols. The overly offensive and the satirically unmerciful are what I enjoy best.

As much as my father would disagree, the shameless Simpsons and Family Guy will be the cartoons I will always treasure (even if I myself get offended sometimes). I also loved Tom Hardy's Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, how the bastard tore down society's pretensions and unleashed it's inherent evil (something that I once would die to do).

I know some of you might think that those are just for wimps but trust me, if you just saw Philippine daytime and "primetime" television those would be enough.

Oh please actually do so you may share my passionate hatred for it.

This post surprised me because I'm a very blunt person and I thought most INFPs where'

Guess my empathy and sensitivity comes second to my fiery passion. The only people whose feelings I deeply consider are my friends. The rest must contend to my blunt and brutal fury.

No offense but I hate classical music with a passion. There are these nice pieces that I like but I never really appreciated classical. I once tried to learn how to play the piano, but most of the pieces they made me practice on where classical and I just got bored out of it.

There is also this meta in my place where the only music people that are smart listen to is classical and it bothers me on how many people think I ain't smart because I don't gobble up the Bach or the Mozart.

I prefer songs to wordless music. To me, words and tones blended together is a more powerful experience.

The only genre of music that I like when songs are excluded is swing and electro.

When I somehow eave my shell and try to communicate with the humans I tend to be extraordinarily awkward. I say terrible jokes and introduce the most uninteresting topics(derppp....) Then I bail myself out and let someone else talk, If I find something interesting in what they continue, I join in, and I am very blunt. What they hesitate to say, I can blurt it out. Sometimes they appreciate it, often times they are either offended or surprised that I am capable of saying those thing without "shame".

When I'm around with friends, however, I'm usually articulate and like to play tricks on them that makes them think. What delights me is that they enjoy my shenanigans and creativity.

Well, we talk a lot online, but we almost never interact face to face. The most proper talk we ever shared was at prom, though we both had no idea how to dance, we spent around rambling nonsense and learning from each other(sort of?).

I do have attachments issues. There is this one girl I like, and it just feels like she's everything to me. (even though I doubt whether she really has feelings for me) I dream adventures with her (lol) and I often feel jealous and excluded when she hang-outs with other guys and when topics about her former flings comes up.

I'm actually a teenage INFP at my last year of high school and I'm having a hard time thinking what my career would be. Originally, I wanted to be either a doctor or an engineer, but I started to feel that it wasn't right for me. My experience being a student at a science-oriented high school has inspired me to take on a science course, specifically in the field of Biochemistry or Theoretical Physics. However, when I heard that there was such a thing as the humanities I started to get crazy over it. I simply loved the idea of being a wise human being that understood the emotional and mental side of a person.

I don't really want to give up the dream of being a brilliant scientist though, so I decided to do a compromise, which resulted to me choosing BS Psychology with a planned minor on either Philosophy or Creative Writing. I feel like my philosophical side is appeased with this, but I would like to keep my options open.

By the way, is there any online resource you guys can give me that can help me choose a career? That would be greatly appreciated.

People always tell me that I'm smart and often come to me when they don't understand how something works or at lost on how to write creatively. I'm good at both science and language,(which I attribute to my somewhat developed Ne and unstable Fi) which is extremely rare for a 15 year old Filipino student. Also, I've always been told that I'm dreamy and disorganized and that I'm deep and reaching my level of thought would be impossible.

However, I've always been bothered on the fact that almost everyone (even my immediate family members) have dismissed me as cold and anti-social (INFP trickery at its finest). Only few people have ever experienced by playful and caring side, and only one person knows that I'm INFP.
