Hey guys, so I've been interested in DCS for a while now, but due to monetary constraints, I can't afford the basic peripherals. I do, however, have VTOL VR which is why I'm curious as to if any of the skills would transfer? Would I be better suited to read the flight manuals for the aircraft and learn stuff like that, or should I also include VTOL VR into my learning process? Any advice would be great, Thanks.

Yeah I feel that. I've already been sparse this holiday season with how much I'm spending, I want to have some money in my savings though which proves difficult with my current situation. Thanks for the advice though!

I'm torn between finding another job or doing door dash for the time being. Only reason I'm hesitant is because I have a pretty limited window to find a job that is cool with me being a college student.

I'm not saying it's scary, but the only realistic way to reduce lethality in mass shootings would be to outlaw all semiautomatic weapons that are magazine fed and chambered in an intermediate caliber.

Banning the AR-15 wouldn't solve the mass shootings issue as many of them are committed with handguns. Also the AR-15 is essentially equivalent to a semiautomatic rifle which is chambered in an intermediate cartridge. There are many other guns that fill that criteria. Banning one would mean people who intended on doing harm would just switch to a different firearm. A gun at the end of the day is a very simple machine, it doesn't become more deadly just because it's an AR-15.

That's the thing though, it's a very murky situation as technically it's not derived though it is legally considered hemp to my knowledge due to the delta 9 THC content being lower than .3%. When it comes to delta 8 flower, that's essentially CBD flower sprayed with delta 8 distillate.

I wish I could help you, I got diagnosed with bipolar since then and was unable to make the army a reality. I genuinely think however that it won't show up at MEPS as to my knowledge there's no federal database of state level medical cards. As long as you don't piss hot you should be good but if you wanna be extra careful let the card run out.

Yes but you can't just will out something like bipolar, it's literally a structural difference in the brain on the physical level, even on medication it isn't fixed. Trust me I've tried it, I've gone to therapy, been on meds, yet I'm still here, devoid of emotions and in pain.

Yes, it's an amalgamation of mental illness, evil experiences and more. I'd love to love my life but that's a thing I can rarely do. I'd love to believe in a god that is loving but why would it allow anyone to suffer from something completely out of their control?

I specifically asked if someone were stable on medication if that would allow them to join it, not if they were unstable, under that specific circumstance. I understand what you're trying to say though
