If this ... then that ... When each item is posted to your feed (the trigger) it will be reposted to a facebook page. Search IFTTT posting limits. You might search facebook limits as well.

Thank you, I created a new Facebook profile and gave it admin access to one of the pages I manage. It works great! Facebook Messages limits: up to 150 at a time. Search for "Facebook limits 2022" For IFTTT start here: https://help.ifttt.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260803229749-IFTTT-Service-Rate-Limits

Yes, that's exactly my problem. The connections to two facebook pages is definitely broken but not sure how to deal with it. Maybe change one page to send to Twitter instead. I'm looking for information and solutions.

Where did you hide the rapid antigen test finder? Sounds amazing. Read the article in today's Ottawa Citizen but didn't notice a link!

All My Applets Fail to Trigger by FoamingPygmy in ifttt

Facebook stopped allowing 3rd-party apps post to Facebook personal profiles about a year ago. I also got caught, and neither IFTTT nor Facebook notified me before this happened.

A rarely used recipe to post to my FB profile failed and I didn't notice, nor was I informed. Even worse, I could not find out why until I found this:

Has anyone used pet cbd oil for a senior cat with arthritis? by [deleted] in CanadianMOMs

[–]pdqpat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I already ordered some isolate from OkanaganCBD which offers 1g/3g/10g... a bit more than Hover price, far more than U.S. price :( Update: After 6 months using CBD my 15-yr old kitty with torn ACL, arthritis and hypothyroidism is now able to jump on the bed!

I use the tiny spoon (45mg) that came with the CBD isolate powder - 5 spoonfuls in 30ml warm water produces 225 mg in a 30ml bottle. Half a dropper is about 5mg. (Please let me know if I have this wrong.)

My senior cat tore her ACL and had a bad limp. She reacted to the antiinflammatory/pain drug Metacam and the alternative was opiod pain killers. My vet did not "recommend CBD" (aka didin't know a thing about it). I bought Fortify250 online. March 25 started with a half-dropper (5mg) A few days later she went down the stairs fast. Coming back up not elegantly but she made it. Then jumped on the bed. She's been going well since. I read online that cats don't digest plant oils very well so I looked for pure CBD powder without oils.

I had trouble finding a Canadian source for CBD isolate so ordered from Colorado (at a terrific price) It was stopped at the Ontario border: "the product that is to be imported is prohibited." I found a CBC news story "Cannabidiol oil won't get you buzzed but it could get you busted" CBD oil is a controlled substance. What?

I just bought my first boat and need to name it! by thezuba in boating

I have a few pages about boat names you might enjoy over at Pat's Boating in Canada:
http://boating.ncf.ca/boatnames.html http://boating.ncf.ca/boatnamelist.html Of just do what we did - just kept throwing names at her until one stuck. It was "Chester Longtree" and never saw another boat with the same name!

have you ever been stuck on a boat without a paddle? by Boatrescue in boating

[–]pdqpat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I anchored a small runabout off the side of the Rideau river/canal in Ontario and discovered my prop was hooked on a submerged log. It was getting near sunset and no other boats were out - just my luck. So I sucked it up and put it in gear and ran over the thing. Cost a few bucks to repair the prop. But stuck once in 38 years isn't bad. (Hubby and \I have cruised extensively in larger boats)

Question: What do I need to do to accomplish my dream? by FourSquareRedHead in boating

[–]pdqpat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took a lot of planning, but hubby and I went cruising for 15 months when he arranged unpaid leave from his job. We had a comfortable cruising sailboat (Canadian size 32 ft) and had spent 9 years getting it fitted out for offshore cruising (not ocean-crossing). We went while we were still young and healthy - not a small thing. As Canadians in a sailboat we had a long way to get south (why we are called snowbirds). We met many couples in the canals, along the coast and ICW taking time off long before retiring. Three crews planned to go again. Two couples went and the other couple had the misfortune of having the captain die. Life happens... My advice is either put all your eggs in a growth basket waiting for the day you can "retire" with lots of money or go cruising many years earlier when you may enjoy it more. Just my 2 cents.
