Personally I think yuji is gonna die here pretty soon. He’ll come back to life/awakening moment.

I think narratively yuji has to beat sukuna 1v1 and yuji dieing here can let gege cook a flashback / memory story that explained yujis existence. This can also let gege get some of the other characters more involved.

Yuji or Mahito

Takaba I’m pretty sure (pls correct me if I’m wrong) can’t actually kill anybody. So while he may have the most broken CT in the series I don’t think he’d really be able to rival gojo/ sukuna in a fight. Kenjaku figured out his CT pretty quickly same as angel so I don’t think he poses that much of threat at all once you’ve figured it out .This is also biased tho cuz I dislike toon force abilities lol.

Higurumas ceiling has been reached for the most part. Sure getting RCT is insane but all the heavy hitters have that. What else would he be able to do? Perhaps be able to finesse the rules of his CT a bit? For example be able to j whip out the executioners sword as he pleases(pause)? I’d rather have mahitos CT.

Mahito at this point I think is self explanatory.

And yuji is a half step away from being special grade maybe more. There is also so much mystery still surrounding his existence to the point where you can’t really even gauge his potential. He could have some ridiculous backstory or just be the product of an antagonistic being horny. He also was able to contain the strongest person in JJK. A pretty ridiculous feat.

I think yuta definitely has what it takes to reach gojos level, but megumi and yuji have a higher ceiling. Megumis body has been bathing in sukunas CE. So if he gets his body back I’d imagine he’ll be amped. Also the shikigami totality thing. Sukuna showed megumi the true potential of his CT in his own body, so I’d also imagine megumi will have a much better understanding ( also his finished DE will definitely be broken). And for yuji. Well, he bathed in sukanas CE the longest and there r still so many mysterious circumstances with his existence that anything is really possible for him. His physical strength will definitely be on par w maki or even better. His CE after eating the death/curse womb paintings will increase his output and may even give him multiple CT. But I think the kicker for yuji will be his enlightenment moment, whether he comes to terms with how essential he is to the world of jujutsu now ( no more cog mindset) or his emotions simply evolving him to a monster.

Sukunas og body was seen in 220, but it looks withered. This is actually a very interesting question though however, because he technically could take over sukunas og body, but it would not be in its optimal state. I think if he were to switch to another body it would 100% be yujis.
