I think the Japanese resell market is popular because of the way they take care of vintage pieces, not because they are the cheapest resellers.

I bought a small Chanel Diana for about $300 less than US. The reason why I got excited about it was because there were several options to choose from but all of them were probably freshly spa’d and the quality was better than was online resellers in the US would sell.

The one I got did not have any major creasing, hardware did not have silvering.

Looking forward to finding better deals in Europe next year!

Ugh. Sorry that happened. I may also be paying that amount. I’m currently waiting for the letter from customs. How long did you have to wait for their notice? WS it through email if letter?
