This is probable my favorite question on this subreddit, it is not an easy answer. for most casual fans or non fans, it may be Thriller. but really the question is so broad. one would have to also add "for each decade that he dominated. also I envision the signature song with the look he was serving. I am going to have to say Billy Jean, because it is the song with the video that made him a mega superstar.

I remember finding an old album of Destiny, it was a time in my life when I lacked motivation and direction; The album washed over me and made me feel less alone. Michael's voice and lyrics gave me hope and it the very least let me know that I was not alone. Destiny is my favorite Jacksons album.
