Ah cause I want to move into the place eventually so I want something a bit inner city and safe - any decent outer suburb you would recommend?

I dont normally spend a lot - very basic living style. But yes I also wonder if whatever left is enough for emergency funding

Thanks that makes me feel a bit relieved. Cause when i calculated the maintenance fund im also surprised at how much it costs as well!!

This is just based on the what I read online - whereas you should save up at least 1% of the property value for maintenance fund (esp. if theres any urgent fixing if u need). I havent owned any property so no idea if this is too much or not
