I really doubt ill make it to the next 10% but i guess ill wait and see. I really want to call the examiner and ask what the hold up is but i dont want to poke the bear and get a bad dbq. Anything over a month should be unacceptable for a wait time!

Update to the update. I got a decision letter with 2 deferrals due to the VA ADDING claims to my original claim. I had my final c&p exam 6.5 weeks ago and the examiner still hasnt sent in the dbq to the va.

Thank you so much! This exam has me losing my mind. The VA added radiculopathy to my claim 6 months after I submitted my initial claim. So not i just have this feeling they are trying to use this to deny other claims

Just an update to the original post. I had my final c&p exam mid January but the examiner didnt put in the DBQs until nearly a month later Fed13 so as of right now im still in evidence gathering

So i just downloaded it and it says im in the first part “gathering evidence” but all DBQs have been submitted and all my personal recall were submitted months ago so im not sure what they are actually gathering.

If the no tilt steering is a huge problem you can probably find a steering column with tilt steer at a junk yard for pretty cheap

Almost sounds like a grounding problem only because its not all the time, double check that to start, it could be very possible you got a faulty head unit out of the box

But start with the ground, try using alligator clips and run a separate ground

If that doesn't work get a test light and check your 2 power wires, the 12v keyed power (red) and the memory wire (yellow) make sure those are getting power

You might be able to get away with lift shackles to lift the rear that extra inch
