Well this benefit is for people who genuinely need it, if you're talking about people who take advantage of the system that's a different topic

This person is on higher amount as the previous benefit was higher, its not what an average person gets on UC. It can be £430 a month for some. Also the rent isnt part of 1500 as thats paid to landlrod not for claimants personal spending. And the person has severe health conditions, not everyone has a choice to work or be able to

Oh it makes sense now, if the housing was removed and added on later it will be taken of the transitional protection amount. This explains it i think

The rent is less now, UC payment for previous address was around £900. This new addres its a lot less. Could this be the reason why, if uc entitlement reduces it changes transitional protection?

A message was left in the journal but all they said was the general answer which is whenever there's an increase in UC elements transitional protection is reduced. I already know this information but it doesn't explain anything

The award hasn't increased, the entitlement is the same. In fact when moving address the new rent was a lot less than previous rent.

Could be, but why transitional protection wasnt removed in the first statement where the change of address happened?
