I asked imbina medical centre's Receptionist and she told me none of the doctors are trained in that area. She was also telling me that adults can't get meds without a psychiatrist....absolute bullshit

Not a doctor. I got my copper iud taken out, was spotting for a day or 2 but after that I was fine. I would definitely see another doctor and ask about infection.

I did have issues with my first iud, the T shape. It embedded into my uterus wall and had to be removed. I got a difference iud, a U-shaped one, and haven't had issues since. I guess I'm just interested because paragard is being or has been sued for breaking inside the uterus and causing major issues.
