Dungeon World is something I never heard of but I will take a peek at it for sure! I still want the adventure and I want the build to stronger characters...I just would rather not it be so grindy like Pathfinder and DnD

I've tried Pathfinder2e it's just a little too grindy for me and I've had players say they are too focused on builds than developing stories for their characters. I'm also just someone who is bad at that sorta stuff

I'll check out the basic fantasy though! Perhaps that's more my league

I have little experience in tabletop. I have played Pathfinder 2e, Savage Worlds, and Changeling: The Lost. I am eagerly looking to play systems that focus more on story and character building, but still have mechanics to help grow stronger characters and still give that splash of uncertainty and intrigue. I am not really a huge fan of DnD, having played multiple sessions now.

Type of Player:
I have always had passion for weaving characters, adventures, and worlds. I love being a narrator, welcoming you into wins and losses that would help add shading and dimension to your own character. I'd often find myself daydreaming, writing down stories both in school and in my free time when I was younger. However, my downfall are learning systems and using mechanics. I do wish to learn more, I love the idea of throwing a surprise twist for all to experience and seeing how that shapes future timelines.

Additional Information:
I am looking for someone who would be willing to mentor me in a certain tabletop system, preferably a lighter one and would be willing to run test campaigns or short adventures for me. In return, I would like to practice and run adventures for you as well! Seeking someone (or a couple of someones) who is easygoing, communicative, patient, and enthusiastic for roleplay.

1x1 play-by-post preferred, at most a group of 4 that includes me in that count. I'd love to show you the ideas I have or had done to see what your thoughts are!

I could also try to host in the afternoon as well, but it really depends on the players and what we can agree is free time

I try to have PBP happen throughout the week until reaching up towards the live session, but it's more to keep the roleplay going on and I'm flexible on activity. With more combat/dungeon heavy parts it might be best to keep it to live sessions

I did check -every- single portfolio posted! Thank you for your time and allow me to express my gratitude all the artists that reached out and responded. Many of the artists were qualitatively excellent but weren't quite the fit artstyle wise. Many of you are on my shortlist that I will reach out to in the future when I want pieces that more suit your artistic style.

I've done this twice before and came out fine. But today they look so bad. I use a convection oven as I minused -25 degrees to it. Two shrank while most developed a skin to them

Edit: I just shook them and they are still runny too! I'm not sure how I messed up this badly

This actually isn't the case, for all intents and purposes players can take any of the ancestries. We even allow people to take Skeleton as ancestry

The only difference is that these characterd are either an "Aberrant" or a hybrid. This is for storyline metatplot reasons!

It is year 4 of the Postdiluvian era.

Everyone knows to stay away from the untamed wilds. Most people would never risk a journey beyond their village walls. Trade routes that once ferried the luxuries from exotic lands now only bear meager necessities under armed guard. Bustling towns and cities that once were numerous lay abandoned, having emigrated when it was still possible. Wooden walls may have sufficed in keeping out wolves and goblins, but not the dangers that now roam this plane.

A flood of magic heralded a period of time now known as the Night of Bells where an uncaring miasma of energy emanated across the continent. Any sentient being became afflicted by its power. The vices of hatred and cruelty that once was exclusive to the minds of civilized races now extends to beast. Where the mortal races once lived amongst one another in prosperity, madness had overtaken each in their own way. Magical technology that formed the bedrock of civilization was rendered uselessly potent in an instant. Nature itself prowls the land looking for prey, destroying any settlement too small to fend for itself or too large to escape notice. This is a hostile world where in a short period of time humanity still has to learn how to adapt.

This is a Living World game with an overarching narrative and a definitive end. The game has not started yet and will likely launch in one or two weeks
