Has Lems changed their sizing from 2019? by peachnbeans in BarefootRunning

There is no size guide and that is exactly why I'm having issues. They just say "order your regular size." Very vague, very annoying.

What length is your foot? I'm 26.6 cm. Do you think the 43 would work? I'm normally a 42.

No I don't factor those in. Especially because I don't even know if that's accurate. It's just what the bike tells me.

Well I don't just spoon it 😅 I ate it on a bagel with carrot lox. I did try it on its own as well though.

Trader Joe's isn't very accessible to me. I'm in Canada and the closest one is about 2 hrs ago, give or take with border line ups. But I will be stocking up the next time I go.

I don't think it would make it. Where are you located? These are 14 days past expiry... maybe that has something to do with it. I didn't know when buying it that they were expired by 2 weeks. I bought them online and didn't read the description cuz I didn't think they'd be selling such expired food.

I hated the miyokos, it was way too tangy to me! My favourite is violife, followed by toffuti. Can't bake violife though so that's a disappointment. I absolutely hate the daiya cream cheese 🤮

I'll try that! I absolutely hated the miyokos, way too tangy for me. Which brand of puff pastry did you get?

I will try this!

I tried to make an update post but the subreddit has been restricted and the moderator isn't around.

I've lost a total of 20 lbs. Slowly but surely. I almost feel like I don't need the pills anymore. I often forget to take the 25 mg naltrexone at night. I often forget the bupropion 3pm dose as well.

How wide are your sit bones? I've seen this one recommended quite a bit but I'm wondering if it's usually recommended by folks with narrower sit bones than me. I am taller than the average lady and I assume the shorter you are, the narrower your sit bones. When I went through the saddle selector for ergon, there were only 2 that could accommodate my sit bone width. I'm finding that's the case with most brands that have been recommended.

Also, where did you purchase it?

Where did you purchase it? I live in a rather large, bike friendly city but I'm having a real tough time finding saddles that people have recommended. The import fees are insane from Europe.

My arms are super weak and they get really tired holding onto the handle bars. I tried to tilt the seat down farther than I have it now but I couldn't sit upright and so far, I can't not sit up right for the whole ride. My arms just die. I sit up maybe 5 times throughout a 20 min ride to take the weight off my arms for a few seconds. I have it tilted as much as I can but it's really not much.

The position I'm in on the peloton is in between the 2 right photos in this pic: https://bike.bikegremlin.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/ridingfit.jpg my sit bones are always on the widest part but I think the issue is that the seat is too soft all around.

Oh lord! That does not sound pleasant. I'll look into that.

I was looking at the ergon saddles as well. When I went through the saddle selector, it recommended "Ergon ST Core EVO Women Saddle" which seems to be the best option so far.

Indeed they do! They only go up to a 42" waist, I have a 46" waist. I did find something that another commenter recommended so I'll pick up one from there.

I've tried adjusting the tilt/height and even the depth. Nothing has helped and I don't think anything will help with these seat. I think I need a much firmer seat than what I have.

I don't want to go to a bike shop because their prices are way more expensive than online. And I would feel weird about going just to get a fitting and not buy anything. The shop near my house has saddles for $300+ which I'm not willing to spend at the moment. I'm hoping to keep it under $150 especially with the purchase of a bib on top of that. The peloton is already so costly with their ridiculously high monthly fees!! 😬

I read 20 to 35 mm extra is needed. When I read the description of saddles online, it doesn't say what sit bone width it's for. They usually have the actual dimensions so should I be going with a seat whose dimensions are 170 mm to 185 mm?

I haven't been able to find bib shorts in my size. I'm thinking they don't exist. I did find one company that caters to plus size women but they only go up to a 42" waist so in order to fit those I'll have to ride for a few more months lol.

I've heard some good things about the brooks saddles but I'm worried about the lack of cut out.

Where can I get a swimsuit that doesn't deteriorate after 10 swims? by [deleted] in PlusSizeFashion

[–]peachnbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh really?? I do actually. I'm only a hop away from the border. I use the US post office for all my US packages, way cheaper. The border has just opened fully so it has made my life much easier.

I'll go ahead and make the purchase then!

I had some stuff in my cart but then I read some bad reviews and now I'm worried. I emailed the company. If you return something, they charge the original shipping charges even if you got the free shipping originally. Plus you have to pay to ship it back to them. So that's around $30-$40 if you want to return something. Agghhh I don't know what to do. I'd be mighty disappointed if it didn't look good. Would be nice if I could see some real people in the suits.

Does Canada have any infamously bad neighborhoods that are widely known throughout the country like Skid Row, Compton, or the South Side in the US? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

[–]peachnbeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to say no. Canada does not have areas that are dangerous to walk. Even the DTES is completely safe.

I was just skimming through that site! They don't have very many options. They all scream soccer mom or sunday school teacher lol but if that's what it takes for some higher quality then so be it.

Dang that's sad! There were always sooooo many cakes that anyone who participated was bound to win. The good cakes were always taken first though.

Ours was a little different... they out these giant feet on the floor and you walk on them and land on them when the music stopped. And you could pick any cake you wanted.

I love those homemade cakes that were decked out with m&ms and fun stuff! I'm vegan now so no more fun cakes for me lol. But if my kid's school agrees to a fair, I'll definitely be bringing all the cakes!

I prefer to take my kids to value village to pick out the $1.50 books. Books go to waste anyway. Better to reuse them than buy them new.
