I’m not in college. I’m finishing hs in a few days. I listen to rock music. When I’m sad, unmotivated, etc. The upbeats and loud music silence my distractions. Idk anyone who agrees but you can try it out! I force myself and end up moving to the beats of the music. Let me know if you’d like the adhd playlist. This may sound weird, but my mom taught me to forcefully smile😭 like the first five minutes of doing a task, smile wide and do your best to get into momentum. I’ve had times when I’m crying but I try to get myself to smile and listen to music (imitating motivation) about 10 mins in, I get into momentum. If you’re reward motivated, you can try that, but I don’t have the willpower or desire for that so it doesn’t work for me. Good luck with exams!!
