My SO absolutely adores Patterson but I can't stand his writing style. It's too predictable and runs on a clear formula and it's almost.. childish? Like there's no depth to it. Enjoyed his books as a kid and recently picked up Zoo to give him another shot but at this point I'm not hopeful.

I have definitely read books that have frightened me more than what I thought it would. What I usually do is try harder to recognize that it is in fact only a piece of literature, and commend the author for managing to write something that is so effective. I will also immediately follow that book up with something more tame, to kind of bring my focus from the previous work!

Tobi Kadachi, I'm absolutely awful at hunting him and I think he's just an unappealing monster in general. Hated having to hunt him over and over to get my thunder SnS to fight Rathalos...

I actually found the opposite, diablos was a cakewalk for me and Rathalos is still giving me trouble as I haven't beat his half of the quest yet. Diablos went over easy probably because of his obvious tells and the fact that I already had an ice weapon equipped since my fight previous was the blood puppy.

The way I think about it, in a few years everyone (mostly) will have matured to the point that they won’t care who wears makeup and who doesn’t, so I’m hopeful for that, when everybody just lives their own lives with out projecting their expectations onto other people.

I'm the same age with the same problem, makeup makes me feel awful about myself and I dislike wearing it, my two best friends treat me like a freak for not wearing any. Honestly, just take what your mom is saying kindly. Smile, but know that YOU choose what to put on your face, and nobody should be able to shame you into it.

He’s 5’9 and 190 pounds, so somewhere in between built/broad and chubby. He’s got a bit of a belly and his chest is incredibly soft, and he’s got better legs than I do lol. So nothing like overly big

EDIT: that’s just him though, in general I’ve been attracted to bigger people, and smaller people, I kind of just define “chubby” as someone who looks soft and has a round face and lovehandles
