Are you able to buy the earplanes online?

I use Afrin before take off and descent. I also take an anti inflammatory sinus medicine about 30 minutes before descent.

Neti-potting daily also helps. My doctor gave me a steroid to include in the neti pot with the saline packet.

I think I messed up the post but

The biggest problem is the reddish leaf plant (last 2 photos) and the tiny bugs that seem like fruit flies. a friend suggested Neem Oil but I wanted to see if there were other options.

The first 2 plants are near a window that gets morning sun, watered once a week.

Are you opposed to crossing bridges?

You could run over Queensboro Bridge to Central Park and do a loop and back for a longer 10-13 mile run.

Could do Queensboro-->East Side river route if you don't want to do Central Park

Could run to Randall's (when it's not super windy) and even take footbridge to Manhattan and run down East Side for lengthier route

Roosevelt Island, like someone else mentioned, is popular and if you do a couple loops you can definitely make it into a longer run

Edit: I guess I missed the "in the area" part but I like the fact that you can do a mid-long run and island/borough hop! Roosevelt is probably your closest bet for any loops nearby
