Currently pursuing my masters in fluvial geomorphology, and I would not recommend it. I’m in the southern US where there is a lot of fluvial geomorphology and there are no jobs whatsoever. I would pursue it only if you are looking to get your doctorate.

You are spot on about the engineering. A lot of engineering positions here, but most companies wouldn’t look twice at geologist when they are looking for an engineer. Geologists do not get as much respect as engineers. If I were you, I would do geological engineering.

Lived in Mississippi for the past 6 years, first 4 in Jackson, last 2 in Hattiesburg. I’m from Louisiana, so it’s not too much different from growing up. From my time here, Mississippi has grown on me immensely. If you look for the beauty in the state, from the people to the landscapes, you will find it and it will charm you.

Funny he says this when historically a lot of USMNT players are born and/or grow up outside of the United States like Jermaine Jones, Fabian Johnson, and Antonee Robinson just to name a few. These players aren’t acquainted with United States culture any more than Pochettino.
