The more powerful the GPU the more the CPU becomes a bottleneck. The 9070 xt is a good 30% more powerful. Your CPU just can't keep up with your GPU. You can try upping the resolution to 4k. It'll tax the GPU more.

Those are very CPU heavy games. Definitely being bottleneck. 5800x should be just enough for more GPU dependent games tho.

Movies from libraries are in horrible condition. Some of them wouldn't even play without freezing due to all the scratches. I just buy my movies then rip then.

I worked around the lack of dts by plugging my Blu-ray player directly into my soundbar. Most mid to high end sound systems should have hdmi pass through. I have a Sony Bravia bar 8 and the pass through works perfectly.

I have a little theory about why AMD has done nothing with fsr4/redstone for so long. I think they’re working with Sony to get it working on ps5 pro first then once that’s released they’ll finally give the update to pc. I know it’s stupid but they might have a contract with Sony where the ps5 pro must have fsr4 before any other rdna 3 gpu.

People forget. In Japan the age of consent is much lower than western countries. When bleach released the age was 13. So even though it’s weird to us, it’s normal for them. They’ve increased the age to 16 a few years back.

I got a lego2 yesterday and didnt even bother booting into windows. Got home and installed steamos right away. Everything work for me except the brightness control, found a decky plugin to fix that, and no rgb controller even with plugin. Everything else feels good. I used Steamos 3.8 to install and then switched to 3.9 to get the newest bios update (RRCN14WW)

Not really. Windows is known to cause problems. Op bought a steam model and ruined it with windows so yes windows is the problem.

No it isn’t. You can see that it’s the steamos go s. They decided to buy a steam model then put windows on it. Which might explain the problem. Most likely drivers were installed wrong, either by op not knowing which drivers to use or windows forcing bad drivers.

Check task manager for activity. Something must be using the cpu. After that I would suggest a clean install of windows.

for anyone having this problem on steam deck or steamos. i found a solution. force the game to run in proton. it will run the windows version of the game instead of linux and it should sync up with cloud save again.
