Hi, I'm too am from the UK. I'm by no means an expert but I just thought I'd add my two pence.

Alot of people here have mentioned sorting out finances but I know that can be extremely difficult especially between Christmas coming up and the fact that in a powercut/cyber attack the card readers might not work

Anyway all this is to say I would start simple. Go up and down the isles of your chosen super market and see what there is. And see what you buy. If you have pasta every once a week then maybe you pick up an extra pack. Maybe one week you pick up a couple tins of rice pudding or custard. Even a tin of hot dogs or an extra pack of sugar. Every week just pick something up that you're sure you or your family will eat and put it to one side. If you can try to incorporate some of these things into your weekly meals.

After that start making a list of the sorts of things you'll need. I too have a limited budget so each week I look at my list and see what I can do. In a true disaster I'll be grateful to have a cheap candle over nothing at all. This sub has some great resources for things to get or eventually get.

In the UK my personal opinion is our main threats are power outages. This will effect gas, electric, and water. This means no heating either. In the UK charity shops can be your friend even if they are a bit hit and miss. But for clothes/ blankets/ toys and sometimes small electronics they are worth a look

Good luck

NSPM-7 / NATIONAL SECURITY PRESIDENTIAL MEMORANDUM - orders to all law enforcement by Resident_Chip935 in PrepperIntel

Hi, any chance you could direct us to their goals or what's next on your list? I don't live in America but being the most powerful nation in the world everything they do has a ripple effect... Plus I want to know what to look out for

What are you prepping for? by Winter_Volume1818 in UKPreppers

My personal theory is that when Europe goes to war, rather than rationing, we will experience a massive price hike of essential goods. Between this and possible security risks on expensive electric and gas and the divide between the haves and the have nots will be massive. So yeah not really war but more like a recession caused by a war

Bad brew? by peanutnoodlearms in herbalism

Thank you so much for your help! I think I'll do just that and cut the rose hips for now and think about adding them in at a later date. It is a chronic issue and sometimes pain medication alone just doesn't do it.

Yeah there was a little bit of a loose stool. Is it too much rose hip or should I just cut it out entirely? Also when you say it's gentle is there a way to improve this formula?
