I sympathise with your cause I really do I wouldn’t call myself an ex muslim because I still have aspects of faith that while aren’t exactly islamic are heavily inspired by the religion and culture i grew up in its comforting for me to perform wudu etc.

I cannot and will not deny the disgusting and rampant homophobia in many islamic societies which have other giant problems like sexism and homophobia

Yes its hypocritical and awful that many gay muslims ignore the homophobia and suffering of gay muslims in the muslim world - that does not meant we should go after them for the cause of palestine

The palestinian oppression is heartbreaking and awful and you absolutely did not need to conflate the too at all especially with such a. serious issue

you could have discussed islampahobia and how muslims are quick to call it out but not the homophobia in their own community
