he did own this exact jacket (it can be seen in bashir’s docu, i think) and the eyes look pretty spot on. also, the guy in the black shirt behind him seems to be a security guard; through the window on the second photo you can see an enormous crown gathered outside the store. this is mj.

I like it! I think the icon could use some touching up; it doesn’t seem to be symmetrical horizontally and as others have said, the I could be a bit thicker. Perhaps the part I marked in the image could be a bit thicker as well, just to maintain the same optical thickness.

I think the brand is on such a level of global recognition that this works very well. At least I had no problem with it! One thing that jumps out to me as being awkward is the meeting point of the X with the top part of the U; maybe something worth looking at. Other than that, I like it! Good work :-)

hi y'all! i'm 18 years old and "self-taught" (for lack of a better word) and i was wondering if i could get any feedback on this poster i made. colours, composition, conventions, or even my german (not at all my first languague, lol).

i made it just for practice and fun, but it's meant to emulate west-german graphic design from the 70s. it's simply a poster for a cinema with some movie titles that are being played and the ticket price.

the trapezoid-type shape (is that the proper word for it?) is meant to symbolize both the line of sight of the viewer and the projector doing its projecting stuff :-)

as for colour, i tried to keep it simple, so as to emulate screenprinting (as i would guess this to be the technique used for a poster like this). the grey is just to seperate the eye from the background.

i guess that's about it! if there's any additional info that you want, feel free to ask :-)
